What’s New - Cantilever Team Day & Yearly Review
Last month, our team gathered for a much needed meet-up to reflect on the past year.
We took the time to review the projects we’ve worked on, sharing successes and lessons learned along the way. It was a great opportunity to highlight what went well and discuss areas for improvement as we plan for the future.
With the appointment of our new Directors, Jane and Lottie, and our recent change to an EOT (Employee Ownership Trust) we also talked about the changes we would like to make as a team and came up with some great ideas to streamline the business and set some goals for 2025.
This year we also introduced a ‘Spotlight Award’ for the member of staff who really stood out over the past year. Our first winner of this award was Cerys - who joined our team at the very end of 2023. She hit the ground running, excelled in her training throughout the year and is now working on some fantastic live projects.
Of course, it wasn’t all about work! After the meeting, we got competitive with a few games of darts at Flight Club, followed by a delicious meal to round off the evening.
We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together and look forward to another year of growth, collaboration, and success. Here’s to more memories and milestones ahead!

Project Focus - The NinetyThird by Qatar Airways, The O2
This month we’re taking a look our recent work at The NinetyThird by Qatar Airways, The O2. We designed and fitted three bars in this very special venue, with each bar having it’s own set of individual requirements and footprint to work within.
The Champagne Bar:
The smallest of the 3 bars features a cockpit style, curved bar to wrap around the bartender and make sure everything is in easy reach for a quick service!
The Cocktail Bar:
Another curved bar design with two cocktail stations. We developed a design which made the most of the space available, and didn’t compromise the bar ops!
The Main Bar:
This was one of our biggest underbars to date at over 13 metres long!
Featuring seven cocktail stations, and a wash up. This underbar works hard to make sure guests are served quickly without missing too much of the artists on stage!
Due to the size of this venue, we developed a ‘station generic’ tailored to the brief.
Using a generic cocktail station in all three bars, allows the venue to be flexible with where they position their staff. Having a consistent station makes sure that all bartenders can work comfortably at any station - ensuring consistency in drinks quality and level of service.
Our Senior Designer, Charlotte, had the pleasure of working on this exciting project; “This was an incredible project to be a part of, designing and installing the bars to enhance the guest experience. A huge well done to everyone involved in creating this awardwinning venue!”
