These grids provide a solid foundation for supporting heavy loads like lighting fixtures, cable trays, and other overhead utilities. When existing drop ceilings are in use, installers must pass structural grids through the suspended ceiling and into the ceiling structure above.

Until now structural grids operated independently from the drop-ceilings, resulting in the requirement to install both systems.

What is Bergvik Iso Flex-Grid?

Bergvik Iso Flex-Grid is a dual-purpose solution. It combines a support grid with a drop-down ceiling in a unique single system, providing a cost-effective solution for data centres, clean rooms, laboratories, and other environments. Constructed from high-grade aluminium extrusions, the grid features a continuous M10 threaded slot along the entire underside. These extrusions are easily connected using 2-, 3-, and 4-way high-strength die-cast connectors. With its high load-bearing capacity, the system does not require additional attachments to pass through the inner ceiling to the ceiling above, as it can manage point loads of up to 300 kg.

The continuous M10 threaded slot offers a versatile interface for infrastructure support, allowing more flexibility in locating overhead suspension points regardless of server rack location or dimensions.

The flexible design of Iso Flex-Grid enables customisation to meet any project's specific requirements, including colour and finish, grid size, ceiling plenum height, ceiling tile material, and load capacities. Additionally, you can easily modify and supplement Iso Flex-Grid later to accommodate any growth needs.
Iso Flex-Grid supports standard industry grid patterns, including 600 x 600 mm, 1200 x 600 mm, 1200 x 1200 mm, or 1220 x 620 mm, but it can also produce custom layouts to meet project-specific requirements.
