Last week, Forwessun had the privilege of opening our doors to a bright group of engineering and electronics students from the University of Liverpool. This visit represented an important opportunity to showcase real-world engineering applications and strengthen the vital connection between academic learning and industry practice.

The second-year Electrical Engineering students received a comprehensive tour of our facilities, gaining valuable insights into how theoretical concepts translate into practical engineering solutions. Throughout their visit, students engaged directly with our engineering team, experiencing firsthand the advanced technologies and methodologies that drive our test engineering services.

From Classroom Theory to Engineering Reality
The visit provided students with a unique glimpse into the daily operations of a specialised Test Fixture Manufacturer. Our team demonstrated various aspects of test fixture development, from initial design concepts to implementation and maintenance. Students were particularly interested in our custom test fixtures and automated testing solutions, which are areas that complement their university studies while showcasing practical applications.

Lee Fielding, General Manager at Forwessun, emphasised the importance of these educational partnerships:
