Helping products keep their cool in warm weather
There are a lot of products in research, storage and production where their temperature should not be allowed to be in excess of 25°C.
Biologicals and pharmaceuticals are especially at risk of having to be discarded if this happens. The chaos and wasted time can be considerable, not to mention the cost of replacement.
QED Scientific has the answer to most situations like this – CRT storage cabinets.
CRT cabinets come in a selection of capacities from a small 30 litre unit right up to a large 1,390 litre 3-door model.
Temperature is controlled using a digital controller which has not only high and low limit alarms but also a minimum/maximum temperature memory. Internal fans ensure that stable temperature is achieved in the shortest time.
We have supplied our CRT cabinets to the NHS for storing medicines in out-patient clinics, clinical research and even for storage of heart valves. Other applications are in industry for storing phase-changing materials for use in postal shipping packaging.
We can fit high security locks when required for specific applications. Digital, Assa Abloy and locks to BS3621 anti-pick and drill have all been specified.
