Plasson expands push fit range

Leading manufacturer of high quality fittings for polyethylene pipe systems, Plasson, has just extended its successful range of easy to assemble, simply push to fit PlassOne fittings. Now 40mm, 50mm and 63 mm fittings have been introduced making the range even more comprehensive for those in the plumbing, building and specification business, adding to the existing 20mm, 25mm and 32mm range.

In addition to standard MDPE sizes, the PlassOne range provides connectivity to a variety of plumbing pipe materials including PEX, PB and Copper by simply inserting the pipe up to the fitting stop to create both the seal and the grip on the pipe.

The fittings are packaged individually with liners for PE and full instructions for ease of handling.  The compact size of the fittings means that they can be easily fitted in confined spaces and the push-to-fit assembly means no tools are required. The small, aesthetically designed product gives a professional finish making it ideal for the plumbing market where space is limited and appearance is crucial.

The push to fit principle allows for a rapid assembly whilst retaining Plasson’s reputation for high quality and reliability.  The full end load performance removes the need to restrain joints, giving an instant seal using a captive o-ring for ease of assembly, making the job of a professional or occasional user easier by having no nuts to tighten to seal the fitting. Plasson’s high quality and reliability guarantees a 50-year design life of the fittings and the tamper resistant design ensures system integrity.

The combination of Plasson’s current fitting range and the new PlassOne fulfil the requirements of all markets for MDPE pipe connections and connections to other pipe materials. The range is a WRAS approved 16 Bar rated fittings system for MDPE, PEX, PB and Copper when used with an appropriate liner.
