ClearView launch mDVRs for vehicle CCTV

Transview from ClearView Communications is an advanced mobile Digital Video Recorder designed for in-vehicle CCTV application.

The Transview mobile Digital Video Recorder (MDVR) systems can record and transmit a wide variety of live data from vehicles including CCTV alarms and audio.

Multiple feeds can simultaneously transmit to a central monitoring station over 3G and WiFi networks not only to provide real time CCTV, alarms and audio, but also retrospective data such as tachometer readings. The vibration absorbing mDVRs also have built-in GPS for real time vehicle tracking.

TransView also provides aeroplane style “black box” recordings so that in the event of an incident or fire, evidence can be retrieved for analysis.

The systems are currently in use by bus, taxi, rail and logistics operators.
