New Macerator for disposable bedpans

DDC Dolphin has launched a new macerator for onsite disposal of bedpans, bottles and similar articles.

The New Pulpmatic Macerator from DDC Dolphin sets new standards in the maceration of biodegradable pulp product bedpans, bottles, vomit bowls and other similar articles.

The state of the art, patented, Pulpmatic offers much that is new and special. Of major interest are the Pulpmatic’s handsfree automatic lid, its no-touch infrared operation and the automatic disinfection of the internal maceration chamber. The Pulpmatic is the first and only macerator to adopt this hands-free, no touch approach not only for opening and closing the lid but also for initiating cycles. These have major benefits in reducing cross contamination and HAI’s. Of interest also is the special maceration technology adopted, which allows up to 8 utensils to be processed each cycle, double the capacity of conventional macerators. The benefits for saving both time and money in busy Hospital Wards are obvious.
