Success for OCS at Manchester Airport

The OCS team at Manchester Airport have recently received two major awards from US Airways for their efforts in aircraft cleaning.

The awards were given to the team for the ‘Highest Aircraft Appearance Cabin Audit Score’ and the ‘Highest Aircraft Appearance Galley Audit Score’ in both Europe and the Middle East, during the summer of 2011.

OCS has held the contract, to provide both security and cleaning services, with US Airways, the sixth largest airline in America, for the last five years. There is a close working relationship between the OCS team and the airline, based at Terminal 2. The US Airways Station Manager, Dahlia Williams, commented on the awards: “The hands-on attitude of the OCS staff and their willingness to strive for constant improvement are some of the reasons that have made this possible.”

OCS Operations Director, Eddie Ratcliffe, added: “The great work of all the team members at Manchester Airport has been acknowledged by these two awards and we are really pleased for them.”
