Art Rack Storage for Central St Martin’s College from EZR Shelving
Always interested in unique projects requiring more than just your average storage solution, EZR Shelving has just completed a bespoke art racking storage system for The Central St Martin’s College of Art and Design.
The project took three months from start to finish, requiring a prototype of the pull-out art panel storage system designed to suit different sized art frames. The prototype was installed and testedbefore the main manufacture commenced.
Art storage racks form the perimeter of the Fashion and Textiles, Print and Dye Workshops and low height art panel racks, capped with attractive hardwood, skirt the glass walled workshop staff office.
Shelving and storage specialists EZR have the ability to work closely with their clients, be they art colleges, retail outlets, warehouses, schools or museums which are both cost effective and exactly fulfil their requirements. Free site visits and drawings are part of the service.
Alan Morton, MD of EZR Shelving said ‘we were delighted to be asked to participate in an extremely interesting project with the Central St Martin’s College of Art and Design where we were able to
combine our specific design skills with a commission that was bespoke from start to finish.’
Another interesting commission has been the storage for old masters at a large London auction house and more recently the fitting out of retail stockrooms with mobile high density shelving units
to create extra selling space at Westfield Stratford shopping centre.
