Pantograph Engraving
A pantograph engraving machine can be used on brass, steel, copper, plastics and wood and is ideal for logos and intricate designs particularly where a prototype or short run with the design scaled up or down is required.
Pantographs can also be used for printed circuit board milling. They precisely carve out circuit traces and patterns on copper-clad sheets in readiness for the addition of the electrical components.
At Ashbee Engraving, the top engravers can use the pantograph machines to engrave on shaped materials such as the wing of a car or a cylinder.
In combination with computerised engraving machines and laser technology exceptional results can be achieved across a wide range of projects.
Computerised Engraving
An ideal solution for efficiently generating multiple copies of a design, industrial part codes and even sequential numbering on labels, plates, panels and electronic components such as motherboards.
Computerised engraving machines can engrave on many materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, and plastic.
Ashbee Engraving has been using computerised engraving machines for many years and often has multiple machines running at once to complete larger volumes to urgent deadlines.
In combination with pantograph engraving machines and laser technology exceptional results can be achieved across a wide range of projects.
Laser Engraving
A laser engraving machine can also be used to cut out custom shapes from such materials as acrylics, laminates, leather, paper, plastics, textiles and wood.
In combination with computerised and pantograph engraving machines exceptional results can be achieved across a wide range of projects.
About us
Our services are trusted by an impressive roster of clients, including leading names in electronics, aviation, exploration, high-performance automotive industries, the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), specialised niche businesses, and various government departments. With a reputation for delivering precise, high-quality engravings, we provide tailored solutions that stand the test of time.
Whether you need intricate designs, durable markings, or custom engravings, our experienced professionals are committed to meeting your needs with excellence and reliability.
Our Engraving Machines Include:
Pantograph Engraving
In the hands of a skilled operator, the pantograph engraving machine's mechanical (or tracing) arm meticulously traces the contours of a template or master design. As the tracing arm follows the template's details, the attached cutter precisely transfers the design onto the material's surface, maintaining the desired scale. This technique ensures that every intricate detail of the original template is accurately replicated, producing high-quality engravings with consistent precision across various materials.
Computerised Engraving
Our specialised engraving software is designed to seamlessly interface with our engraving machines, allowing for the creation and precise replication of intricate designs. This sophisticated software communicates directly with the machines, guiding the robotic cutter arm to execute complex patterns and detailed graphics with exacting accuracy. By integrating advanced technology with our engraving equipment, we ensure that every design, no matter how detailed, is faithfully reproduced with consistent quality and precision.
Laser Engraving
A laser engraving machine is capable of etching highly detailed designs, text, logos, and graphics onto an extensive variety of materials. This includes acrylic, wood, glass, coated metals, specialised steels, anodised aluminium, and even cork. The laser’s precision allows for the creation of intricate patterns and fine details with exceptional clarity and permanence. Whether you need to mark or decorate materials for aesthetic or functional purposes, the versatility of laser engraving ensures that complex designs are rendered accurately and effectively across different surfaces.
Initially regarded as a ‘trainee’ for the first decade, each of our senior engravers has been with Ashbee Engraving for over 40 years.
When selecting an industrial engraver to turn your concept into a lasting image on your chosen material, it’s important to consider the team's innovation, expertise, and commitment to excellence that will ensure the successful execution of your project.
