Based at our head office in Danbury, Essex, we operate as a principal building contractor. Established in 1878, we are a highly respected building company specialising in heritage restoration, new build projects and bespoke joinery. We pride ourselves on giving our customers the benefit of our experience, our project management approach and attention to detail on the buildings we conserve, refurbish, repair or construct. We work on historical buildings, churches, residential, listed properties and new build projects undertaking major works through to smaller projects. Our own joinery and stonemasonry departments also allows us to carry out specialist bespoke work. Over the 145 years that the company has been trading, Bakers of Danbury has developed into a diverse business with a strong blend of traditional ethics and modern capabilities. We work throughout Essex, East Anglia, London, Kent and Hertfordshire.
