BE Furniture Sales was founded in 1972 by Bob Evans (hence the B.E). Simon Evans is BE Furniture Ltd's company director, with his sons Luke and Dan joining him in the business. The management team is completed by brothers Kris Hart and Ant Hart.

At first, we organised Antique Fairs ourselves, which led us to hire and then sell furniture. In addition to having additional quantities of some items on hand, we could sell them or hire them depending on which order came first.
All of our trestle tables are manufactured in Melton Mowbray. As we have grown, our purchasing power has increased. As a result, we have developed relationships with manufacturers around the world and now purchase furniture directly from factories by container, which arrive regularly throughout the year. Furniture sales are now a major part of our business.
In order to maintain good stock levels, sales furniture is usually dispatched the next working day, and it is transported either by FedEx, a pallet network, or our own fleet of vans and lorries. You are also very welcome for you to come and collect yourself from us here in Melton Mowbray.
