Cistermiser’s DFD urinal flushing valve announced as Water Saving Commercial Product of the Year at the Energy Saving Awards
The water saving capabilities of Cistermiser’s Direct Flush Discreet (DFD) control valve for mains-fed urinals have been further recognised, with the product winning its second water efficiency award this year. The DFD was the winner of the Water Saving Commercial Product of the Year category of the Energy Saving Awards 2023, held on December 1 in London.

MGT Suffolk Ltd upgrades workshop facilities with the addition of Stertil-Koni wireless mobile column lifts
MGT Suffolk Ltd has specified two sets of Stertil-Koni heavy-duty wireless mobile column vehicle lifts to compliment the Company’s workshop upgrade at its premises near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, UK. One set is made up of 6 x 7.5t columns for tri-axle vehicles and the second set is made up of 4 x 7.5t columns for standard vehicles.

Ashford Hill near Thatcham is not served by foul mains drains adequate enough to process the waste water from 35 new houses, connection to Thames Water was fully investigated and costed via a section 98 requisition application which provided a 7 figure sum that made the development costs nearly £50,000 per plot for foul waste treatment alone.
