About us

Central Theatre Supplies (a member of both PLASA & ABTT) is a Birmingham company of over 35 years, the company has been under new ownership since 2019 with a drive to promote installations in schools, churches, village halls and TV studios.  We can offer advice and guidance on all aspects of sound, lighting, LED theatre lighting, DDA compliant hearing loops and AV installations. Working in approximately a 60 mile radius from Birmingham we offer a free site visit, specification, drawings, installation and on-site training.  We also offer PAT testing and rig reports on installations.  We assist customers needing to upgrade from tungsten lighting to LED and work together to create the performance space they require. 

Although we are known in the theatre industry we also work with crematoriums and their sponsors to ensure the track and drapes in the suites are functioning correctly with either a service contract or response on demand.  We take this work very seriously and respect the signifance of acting quickly to ensure the drapes work as expected.
