Domestic Solutions

The Compact range serves domestic wastewater applications from single houses upwards and, unlike all other systems it is capable of receiving higher loads over several days whilst maintaining consent or conversely, receiving no incoming flows for two to three months without deterioration in performance, even where maximum loads are abruptly reinstated.
Bio-Bubble Compact achieves a very high quality of effluent discharge with a reliability that is unmatched by any other system.
With consent approval, the discharge from a Bio-Bubble domestic plant can flow direct to ponds, rivers, streams, bog gardens, ditches, etc, and is often used for irrigation or a recycling resource.

Commercial Solutions

Advanced Aeration ensures both effluent and sludge are treated to a very high quality. The final sludge is highly stable, inert, without offensive odour and reduced in volume on average by 85%. This applies further significant advantages when compared to other systems, notably by the remarkably reduced costs and frequency of sludge removal, and to the carbon emissions this entails.
Our process has been applied to numerous sensitive area sites where stringent consent conditions are imposed and was chosen because of its proven ability of continually meeting and maintaining a high quality effluent. Indeed, there are instances where only Advanced-Aeration provided the reassurances for meeting the approval of consenting authorities.
Unique system also ensures exceptional energy savings will be gained by proportioning power to the incoming flows and by utilising the latent biological energy. The capability of receiving sudden excessive flows is particularly demonstrated at tourism destinations where seasonal variations suddenly peak during holiday season therefore it is perfect for locations with peak /off-peak periods.

Industrial Solutions

Bio-Bubble Advanced-Aeration has been used for a number of industrial wastewater applications including abattoirs, meat processing plants, vegetable preparation factories and landfill leachate. A further application includes a treatment plant used for the decommissioning of explosive material.
Numerous smaller treatment systems are serving a diverse range of applications such as deer larders in Scotland, several RSPCA kennels and micro-breweries, to name just a few.

Muncipal Solutions

Exceptionally Low Energy Input and Carbon Emissions: Energy consumption is low on average and fits comfortably within the capabilities of other processes.
High Quality Exceptionally Stable Effluent Discharge: A low sludge loading promotes very favourable environmental conditions to stimulate a healthy, naturally selected micro-organism proliferation. Final effluent overall respective quality of 5: 3: 0.5 (TSS: BOD: NH3) with minimum or no requirements for tertiary treatment.
Low Sludge Waste Production − Lower than any other Process: Dynamic conversion of volatile matter to solid residue improves sludge stability and significantly reduces sludge waste. Average sludge waste production rate is 0.1 kg SS/ kg BOD removed per day while the maximum being produced from a municipal application is under 0.4 kg SS/ kg BOD per day.
Sludge Disposal to Agriculture: By transferring the sludge to Bio-Bubble Sludge Thickening; the most stringent UK and EU agriculture disposal routes by the simplest available and most economic method are met.
Odourless Operation: Advanced-Aeration requires no odour treatment for either secondary treatment or sludge thickening − even under full load during the hottest summer periods; odour will not be an issue.
