Air Conditioning for Server Rooms
ou can prevent servers and IT equipment from overheating by using cooling systems which will help to prolong the IT equipment's lifespan and help the system work more efficiently.
During the summer the average room temperature will be higher than during the winter months this means that the cooling systems will be under more strain to keep the IT equipment cool. Air Conditioning Commissioning & Maintenance
One of the biggest faults we find when called out to a heatpump breakdown is that the inline strainers are blocked. This causes a flow fault to occur which in turn, shuts the heatpump down. A blocked filter is easily rectified and takes only a few minutes to complete, but is an unnecessary cost and time wasted for all concerned. For this reason, cleaning the inline strainers is always part of our maintenance visits. Even a partially blocked strainer will have an impact on the systems performance and will increase running costs.
We are also finding that some systems are inadequately commissioned. Although we are finding that more people are installing heatpump units, not many have been trained by manufacturers on how to correctly commission them. An incorrectly or part commissioned heatpump system could end up costing more to run and effect the performance of the system.
To be able to understand and work on these systems, our engineers have been manufacturer trained and as such, understand the units, so are able to fault find if required. All engineers hold the F Gas (refrigeration) qualification and G3 unvented hot water certification.

Heat is extracted from the air and used to heat a refrigerant circuit which has a very low boiling point. The heated refrigerant is then compressed producing a superheated refrigerant gas, and this is then passed through a second heat exchanger called a condenser. On the other side of the condenser is the central heating water. The heat produced from the compressed refrigerant gas is transferred through the condenser into the central heating water, heating it to a high enough temperature to be able to run your radiators or underfloor and provide your domestic hot water.
