Our state of the art Videx 4g GSM intercoms system enables you to answer the intercom wherever you are in the world. This system can also be integrated with mobile phones, so family members or employees can use their phones to call the gate directly when approaching it, so it opens in a timely manner.

Force testing is a legal requirement for many automated gates, especially on residential buildings of multiple occupancy. While the motors themselves are relatively low voltage, the effect of the hinging and leverage can produce colossal forces near the fulcrum. In the past this has led to tragic consequences, and regulations designed to prevent any repeat of this are in force: specifically BS EN 12453:2001.

The HSE recommends that all forces should be periodically checked on electric gates as part of a routine maintenance programme. If any of the readings measured are above the standard, then the gate has failed its force test, and needs to be repaired or altered before it can be used again.

You can install an access control system in conjunction with your electric gates or barriers. This enables your staff to swipe a card or enter a code to gain access to the property. This helps keep a location secure, while still granting access to employees as needed. There are many different options for controlling access, from simple, coded key-fobs through to combining it with intercom systems if necessary.

We provide ongoing maintenance contracts for automatic gates and barriers that receive extensive use. You can arrange yearly, six-monthly, or three-monthly visits, to make sure your electric gates and barriers are operating properly, are safe to use, and unlikely to break down unexpectedly. As part of this service contract we can come and repair your electric gates or barrier in the case of such a breakdown, free-of-charge, if you have a gold contract with us.

If you need to allow vehicles out, without letting them in, induction loops are the most cost effective solution. They operate by emitting a weak magnetic field where a vehicle would wait for a barrier to lift, and when that field is disturbed by the presence of a vehicle, the gate is triggered to open. These systems are a very reliable and effective way of regulating traffic leaving an area, while preventing unauthorised vehicular access.
