Bike & People Counters

The RadioBeam™ People-Bicycle Counter (RBBP) is a double-sided, battery-operated unit that separately counts people and bikes. It is suitable for paths up to 3 metres wide.
Car Counters

Car Counters

We offer two types of car counter for use at car parks or entrances to visitor attractions, etc. One is a single-sided counter that detects cars when they come close to the sensor using magnetometer technology. The other is a double-sided unit that uses RadioBeam™ technology. Both counters are battery-operated and are easy to install.

Water Level & Flow Measurement

Our water level and flow measurement systems determine the water table height, and automatically record water height at preset time intervals. We can also supply equipment for monitoring flow rates in streams.

Electronic Marking System

The Retriever System is the well proven radio-detection system for invisibly marking locations on the ground, such as archaeological sites and vegetation quadrats. A small transponder is buried at the location and is activated and detected by the "Retriever Unit". The Transponders have indefinite life. The system is now widely used throughout the country for long-term monitoring. The Retriever Unit has a Pinpoint mode and we are offering to update existing units to add this feature. The system can also be used for monitoring path erosion or marking archaeological sites.
Display

Display

The display will provide you with a 6 digit count which can be reset to zero with a magnet we supply. The display is either built into the unit, or attached to the unit via the logger lead so that the counter can be easily upgraded with a data logger.
Data Logger

Data Logger

The data logger gives you date/time count information that is easily downloaded onto a computer to give usage count data related to hour, day, month, etc. The download of the data is done using a USB cable from the logger to the PC/laptop.
Wireless Indoor

Wireless Indoor

A high performance wireless system for transmitting count data to a receiver attached to the LAN or directly to a PC is available for some of our indoor counters. The wireless system is recommended in situations where real-time data is required or where the count information is required from the counters remotely over the LAN. The range is at least 100m on a clear line of sight; and 200m can be supplied if required.
Satellite Data Logger

Satellite Data Logger

Fully automated remote data retrieval, eliminating the need to visit the counter.
Can be configured to transmit information at specific logging intervals or under certain conditions.
Regular battery status messages and alerts can be set.
Fully battery operated running from 4 x D size Energizer batteries. Provides a 2 year battery life.
Available with recycled plastic post or protective housing options only. Both incorporated into the housing, providing a robust and discrete solution.
Can be configured to provide locational updates for units that may be moved between various locations.
Protective Housing

Protective Housing

The housing can be used in a variety of situations including fixing to your own posts. The housing has screw holes in the back for easy mounting. For a small charge, it can be supplied with mounting plates, which make installation easier, and these can be used with bands for mounting on rounded surfaces such as lamp posts
Posts

Posts

Posts are the optimal vandal-proof option and are most popular in remote areas, or areas which do not already have structures in place. We can supply galvanised metal posts (which can be painted), or recycled plastic posts.
