About us

Established in 1985, Applied Automation Ltd have over 30 years’ experience in the design and distribution of industrial control systems and automated equipment, which are most commonly used within the marine sector and smart homes. Based in Devon, our company offers bespoke, customisable solutions that are developed and installed by our team of over 150 designers, engineers, project managers, sales engineers and professional specialists, who are all dedicated to good customer service and helping clients find the right fit for them.

Here at Applied Automation, we have a number of in-house facilities scattered throughout the UK. In 1999, we set up a brand-new division called X-STK in Cardiff, which stocks thousands of products and solutions from well-known global brands including SMC and Omron. We also set up a team of specialists who are committed to the processing and assembly of MayTec aluminium profiles, which has since evolved into one of our most successful divisions, Applied Industrial Systems. Our company has also developed Applied Marine Automation, which supplies systems for luxury yachts.

Applied Automation Ltd are often referred to as the home of automation solutions, systems and products. Our bespoke automated machinery is guaranteed to benefit both commercial and industrial organisations, utilising industrial components as well as profile and pipe systems. We have worked with a number of sectors over the years who have praised our fast and efficient service, including pharmaceutical, warehousing, automotive, marine, packaging and aerospace. We as a company are always looking to expand our knowledge and therefore our customer base.
