FS300 Flexscan Quad OTDR
User-friendly: FlexScan OTDRs enable both expert and novice technicians to quickly, reliably and accurately detect, locate, identify and measure optical network components and faults. After applying industry-standard or user-set pass/fail criteria, the network is displayed using FlexScan’s intuitive, icon-based LinkMap view. Results may be printed to PDF and stored internally or externally. FlexScan automates test setup, shortens test time and simplifies results interpretation, improving test efficiency and cost.
Pocket-sized: FlexScan OTDRs truly fit in your pocket, yet still deliver all-day battery operation plus a large, bright, indoor/outdoor, 5-inch 800x480 touchscreen display. With large touch controls, you’ll never need a stylus.

The resolution 1280x1024 with pixel pitch 15µm, InGaAs image sensors with standard InGaAs wavelength of 0.9µm -1.7µm. Quantum Efficiency > 70% at 1.55 µm and typical pixel operability > 99.9% room temperature operation. Snapshot ITR/IWR and IMRO readout modes. 2,4 and 8 outputs with 22MHz pixel rate and windowing capability.

The Yamasaki Series OTDR comes with a larger screen for clearer results and can simply enable the automatic mode and you are up and testing.
If you wish to have more control over the individual parameters then the Yamasaki Y30 Series OTDR allows the user to operate in manual mode as well.

Additionally the TPU series has the ability to identify tones generated at 270Hz, 330Hz, 1KHz and 2KHz to assist in fault finding and fibre location. The internal memory holds up to 1000 results which can be downloaded through the USB port and onto the PC with the included reporting software.
The Yamasaki TPU Fibre Optic Light Source also features an ambient light sensor which allows the LCD to automatically adjust to the brightness of your surroundings.
