At Bowles & walker Ltd, we have a long history of bespoke precision plastic moulding for the Engineering, Medical and Pharmaceutical Industries as well as parts for general consumer requirements.
We offer high quality, precision injection moulded components, utilising modern equipment, operated by our highly trained and skilled staff. We offer a flexible service to our customers, producing in batch sizes from a few hundred to 1 million plus, priding ourselves on meeting our customer’s demands for quality and delivery.
We offer friendly expertise and advice to help take customers concepts to finished products. Our expertise has also allowed us to establish a number of key strategic partnerships, supporting a number of large and small growing enterprises.
Tooling

Tooling

We provide tool-making and precision engineering expertise to a wide range of sectors, not just for plastic injection moulding. We pride ourselves on becoming involved in the design and engineering of our customers tooling, working closely to build relationships and provide expertise in the design and manufacture of mould tooling. Our modern tool manufacture equipment and extensive practical experience sits alongside our moulding capability, offering practicality to support product development and new product introduction and ongoing production.
Utilising over 45 years of mould tool design and manufacture for the plastics injection moulding industry, we are able to offer friendly, practical, hands on moulding expertise to help our customers produce precision, cost effective tooling to meet their demands.
We utilise modern CNC equipment and spark erosion to manufacture, repair and modify mould tooling for injection moulding and die casting, from simple single impression to complex multi cavity tools.
We also carry out a range of single and small lot precision engineering tasks.
3D Printing

3D Printing

Bowles and Walker have always been able to supply customers’ requests for prototypes from their comprehensive workshop, made from a variety of solid metals and plastics but can now supply 3D printed models and prototypes from CAD models using their new Ultimaker 3D printer.
If small production or preproduction quantities are required these can also be printed in a variety of plastic materials and colours at a competitive price.
Pressure Switches

Pressure Switches

Bowles and Walker manufacture and supply a range of reliable and proven Novomec Technologies pressure switches. We offer a range of standard products as well as the manufacture of bespoke devices.
Flow Switches

Flow Switches

Bowles and Walker manufacture and supply a range of reliable and proven Novomec Technologies 15 and 22mm flow switches. We offer a range of standard products as well as the manufacture of bespoke switches.
Ultrasonic Welding

Ultrasonic Welding

This process uses ultrasonic sound waves to weld plastic components and is suitable for many subassembly requirements.
It is a more consistent and is a quicker process than gluing or use of metal or other fixings. We can advise you on this or alternative fixing processes.
Sustainability

Sustainability

It is our policy to recycle and reduce our carbon footprint whenever possible, where it is not to the detriment of our high quality standards. We have made significant investments to enable us to recycle our waste plastic, 99.8% of our plastic waste is recycled.
The company has made a substantial investment in solar PV to reduce its reliance on the national grid for its power requirements.
• We recycle waste heat within our factory to provide a comfortable and safe working environment.
• Goods are supplied whenever possible in reused cartons

Delivery

As well as taking delivery of our modern production equipment we deliver to our local, national and international customers in a timely manner the quantity they require when they what it.
We are able to offer to customers a stock holding service, the customer can order the most cost effective quantities but have the parts supplied over an agreed period of time, saving on cash flow and expensive warehousing
