Polaris Range of Electric Heaters
The Polaris Neptune range is available in a wide range of metals from stainless steel, and Inconel™ to titanium. Metals are selected on the basis of the chemical in which they are to be used. There is a wide variety of shapes and sizes available allowing heaters to be placed over the top of the tank with flying leads or flanged to fit through the side.
The Triton heater has a ceramic element with a removeable core and comes with a stainless steel or porcelain outer sheath with other materials such as inconel and titanium available to order.

Polaris Modular Tank Heater
They are small enough to fit behind anode baskets and in other confined operating areas; the Polaris Modular will cope with all the special requirements experienced by the metal finishing and allied industries.

Nautilus Tank Heater
Nautilus units are of a modular construction which enables the basic unit capacity to be increased by the fitment of further elements. Heating units can also be 'linked' if really high outputs are required. Operation is normally with saturated steam, hot water or thermal fluid for heating and chilled water for cooling.

Heat Exchangers
The exchangers are designed for use with steam, hot water, thermal fluid up to 200°C or chilled water and also electric.
Get in touch if you have queries about heating or cooling, or use our calculator questionnaire.

BRAUDEMASTER Temperature & Level Controllers
Our controllers are designed for arduous application in processing plants and most come in IP65 enclosures for surface mounting near the point of application. Clear displays ensure ease of use.
They can also be used in conjunction with our custom built control panels to complete our range of safety, monitoring and control solutions.

Thermaster Temperature Controller
Easy to install; fitted with flying leads and is compatible with other electrical equipment. It has a simple relay operation allowing a volt free output if required.
The controller operates on 240V as standard, 110V available.
Probes are fully non-corrodable, deposit resistant and virtually unbreakable. They are supplied with 0·5m probe length with a 2m lead as standard, with longer lengths available to order.

Chemical Pumps

Electrical Surface Heating
Included in the Braude range are trace heating cables and equipment to complement our range of immersion heaters. These products complement the Braude heaters and extend from the metal-based industries to Chemical, Petrochemical, Food Processing and Construction amongst others.
The cables are specifically designed for either frost protection of pipes and valves or to apply heat into a pipe as part of the process requirement. A wide range of cables is available to suit most applications.
We will be pleased to advise on the most suitable cable for your application.
A typical example is for frost protection of storage tanks and pipework, combined with Braude immersion heaters for use in the tank and the heating cable for the delivery pipework. This will avoid any stoppages due to freezing and make sure there is no serious blockage to remove mechanically which takes unnecessary time and effort.

Frogspawn Thermal Insulation Spheres
Frogspawn Thermal Insulation Spheres form a floating blanket ideal for use on the top of open process tanks. The system consists of hollow polymer spheres which are usually polypropylene that are floated on the surface of the liquid to provide a continuous insulating layer. Workloads like jigs and components can easily pass through the layer. The system is used extensively by electroplaters, anodisers, steel processors and chemical manufacturers.
The spheres are supplied in PP as standard and other materials such as HDPE, PVDF available on request.

About us
With years of expertise, Braude manufactures products offering optimal resistance to corrosive chemicals like nitric, hydrochloric, sulfuric, and hydrofluoric acids. Their inert equipment ensures non-contamination, making it suitable for heavy industry, factories, laboratories, and harsh environments like chemical processing and marine applications worldwide.
Recent additions to our lineup, like the Polaris Neptune heater, allow us to offer the right equipment for all the solutions used in your processes.
Our Products Include:
Polaris Range of Electric Heaters
The Polaris Modular and Popular fluoropolymer immersion heaters are designed to heat aggressive chemicals up to 100°C. These heaters provide excellent resistance to corrosive chemicals like nitric, hydrochloric, sulfuric, and hydrofluoric acids and are inert, ensuring non-contamination where needed.
Heat Exchangers
Braude manufactures a variety of fluoropolymer heat exchangers for both in-tank and external use. These heat exchangers are commonly used in applications such as acid pickling, preflux in galvanising, large-scale electroplating, and chemical milling.
BRAUDEMASTER Temperature & Level Controllers
Braude offers a comprehensive range of temperature and liquid level controllers, as well as protection and cut-out devices, to complement our heaters. Each controller comes with sensors specifically designed for process tanks, ensuring protection against aggressive chemicals and mechanical damage from tank operations.
Chemical Pumps
Braude chemical pumps are engineered to handle corrosive chemicals like hydrochloric, hydrofluoric, nitric, and sulfuric acids. They are made from high-integrity polymers that offer excellent chemical and impact resistance.
We are recognised as experts in thermal process equipment for highly aggressive and corrosive liquids, offering heating solutions for a wide range of industrial applications.
We provide design services and guidance on selecting the most appropriate heaters for your requirements, along with related equipment, all supported by our technical service team. Please reach out for technical assistance.
