Light Industrial Panel PCs

The Afolux range of light industrial Panel PCs offers an attractive design with moulded bezel and case. A choice of LCD screen size, resistive or Projective Capcitive (PCT) touch screens and CPU performance, Atom, Baytrail or iCore. Afolux panel PCs are suitable for in Panel, wall or VESA mounting. A comprehensive range of mounting kits are available to simplify installation. All units can be provided with Windows Embedded operating system ready to run.

Rugged Panel PCs

The key benefit of a rugged Touchscreen Panel PC is that it retains its aesthetics, while working in harsh and aggressive environments. This is due to their robust and excellent heat dissipation and aluminium housing.
These fanless, Panel PCs also come in various sizes, from 15 to 24 inches. VESA 100 x 100 mm and side mount (M6*2) mounting is also available.
For a more powerful Panel PC solution, the CPUs that work well with industrial Panel PCs are Intel’s 4thGeneration CPU, the Haswell, Gen 3 or Bay Trail.

IP66 Waterproof Stainless Steel Panel PCs

Waterproof, Stainless Steel Panel PCs have a Fanless, Anti-Corrosion design which makes them appropriate for use in harsh and aggressive environments where water, dust and dirt are present.
The main benefit of these Waterproof Panel PCs is that their touch-screens are resistive and fully sealed to an IP66 rating, which make them highly suited for use in food preparation areas.

Marine Panel PCs

Marine Panel PCs are reliable, rugged and highly rated for their durable and fanless designs within harsh environments.
Aimed at maritime professionals and found in dock, deck, the bridge and control rooms, the touchscreen of a marine Panel PC is protected from any stray electrical signals on ships. Users can also control back light brightness from 0% to 100% by PCAP OSD button control.

Using reliable industrial motherboards as the main controller, Medical Panel PC computing solutions are equipped with 4KV isolation I/O ports (COM, USB, LAN) and a medical-grade antibacterial finish on the surface which prevent damage from harsh medical cleansing materials. Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a method of using computers for perception, logic and learning. AI uses machine learning so that AI system performance improves over time and with more data analysis. This is achieved using Deep Learning algorithms based on neural networks which connect inputs and outputs in a similar way to the way brain works. Problem solving is learnt by the system itself and not hard coded by computer technologists. Deep Learning is used to Train the AI systems by providing data repeatedly to hone the system’s ability. When the AI system is trained it works to achieve the end goal which is to perform analysis or decision making.
Artificial Intelligence is achieved by using systems with a combination of high performance scalable processors such as the Intel® Xeon®; FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Arrays); Vision Processing Units (VPUs) and Neural Network Processors (NNPs).

Embedded OS Software

As an official Microsoft Embedded Windows Partner we have been implementing Operating Systems on embedded hardware for our customers for 30 years. From the early RTOS days of OS-9 on the Motorola Processor range through Windows NT embedded, XP, 7, 8 and Windows 10 Embedded. We offer standard configurations where we provide a ready to run O/S environments for embedded versions of Windows 7, 8.1 and 10 IoT. Customers can also decide upon the level of customisation they want where all their user accounts, software and application configurations are all fully pre-installed (including Windows Updates). BVM image services are fully supported, inclusive of maintenance services whenever required for your products lifetime.

Industrial and Embedded Motherboards

Industrial Grade Motherboards provide the backbone for Industrial PC Systems. Industrial motherboard's are revision controlled, they are available for a longer time scale compared to commercial motherboard's and typically operate over a wider temperature range than their commercial equivalents.
Embedded SBC (Single Board Computers) have similar features but in a variety of smaller form factors suitable for embedding into more compact industrial PC systems.

Mini ITX motherboards

The Mini ITX Motherboard format was specified by VIA in 2002 as a platform to promote their C3 CPU and chipsets. Since then many manufacturers worldwide have produced Mini ITX form factor motherboards with almost any CPU imaginable. Commell have been at the forefront of advanced Mini ITX motherboard developments being the first to announce the availability of the boards.
Mini ITX is a specification for a motherboard measuring 170 x 170 mm with a conventional I/O shield as used on larger scale motherboards. The layout on-board varies from manufacturer to manufacturer but most boards have a PCI slot in a standard location or a PCIe slot and on many embedded motherboards, one or two MINI-PCI or Mini-PCIx slots.
