Based on the design for our traditional five-bar field gate, the Newmarket Gate is upgraded to include an extra foot of protective coverage. The lower frame of the gate is strengthened by horizontal rails held firm through the time-honoured use of mortice & tenon joints. These are strengthened further by diamond pattern diagonal bars, fixed using stainless steel coach bolts to give this gate its robust finish.
