Panel Design

Need an electrical panel made? We provide a full design to assemebly panel building service - we can design, source and assembly elecrical panels. We can also source most electrical control components at discounted rates due to us being a distribtor for CHINT electrial.

Micro PLC

The FMT-100A provides 16 digital inputs and 8 relay outputs and a RS232 communication port. It is part of the FMT range and is programmed using the FLEX PC programming software.

All the FMT range can be programmed using a high level text based language as well as ladder programming and benefit from advanced programming features such as 32 bit mathematics, far more advanced features than a standard PLC.

Field Bus Controller

The BIS-100 provides Master and Slave interfaces to different types of Fieldbus. It includes 4 digital inputs and 4 relay switched outputs. Four communication ports (all RS232 compatible, two also support RS485), LEDs display the status of inputs, outputs, communications etc. An additional 2400 bps modem can be fitted. It is part of the FMT range and is programmed using the FLEX32 PC programming software.

Human Machine Interface

The HMI-4420A is a Human-Machine-Interface which can be seamlessly connected to the Colter FMT / BIS range of controllers via RS232 or RS485.

The HMI-4420A can also be connected to many other PLC systems. The HMI-4420A can be used as a cost effective way of replacing push buttons lamps and thumb wheels. In ‘simple text’ mode the HMI-4420A will display characters received on the RS232 or RS485 port from the connected host.

In ‘multidropped’ mode upto 255 displays can be connected together using the protocol described on page 3. The display is a 4 x 20 character Vacuum Flourescent Display (VFD), this display technology offers excellent visibility and wide viewing angle in the harshest environments. The HMI-4420A is IP67 rated when panel mounted in a suitable enclosure.

10 Channel Fuse Blown Indicating Module

The FSC-1114 fuse blown indicating module is a DIN rail mounting module, that allows power distribution to field sensors and other sub circuits, with built in Alarm for easy maintenance when used with SCADA. Up to 10 commonly fused supply outlets can be used. Each fused channel can handle up to 7.5A, however a maximum of only 40A max is allowed for the module.
Fuses are available in 6 different ratings (see datasheet) and should be ordered separately.
In the event of a fuse being blown a relay is energized and the volt free contacts can be used to signal the problem to a SCADA system or raise a local alarm.

FMT-200J PLC

The FMT-200J provides 200k bytes user RAM, 32 digital inputs and 24 solid state PNP outputs. 8 analogue inputs and 4 analogue outputs Four communication ports, a 2 line by 16 character LCD display, four function keys, and a socket for an external FLASH memory card are also provided. It is part of the FMT range and is programmed using the FLEX PC programming software.
