DeepClean LST Radiator Guards

DeepClean Low Surface Temperature radiator guards incorporate BioCote®, the patented silver based anti-microbial agent in the guards’ paint.
This unique, patented additive to our powder coating provides an effective, safe and long lasting solution to combating a wide range of dangerous bacteria, including MRSA, providing a major benefit in areas where infection control is important.

DeepClean Anti-Ligature Radiator Guards

As a key part of its radiator guard offer, Contour has developed a specialist range of solutions for use in secure environments such as NHS or private mental health facilities, prison and other secure custody services, where reducing the risk of potential ligature and tamper opportunities is of paramount importance in reducing the risk of harm to vulnerable individuals.
Grilles and external TRV’s on all radiator guards are areas that should receive particular scrutiny, as these have been identified as potential ligature points.

Bespoke Radiator Guards

Complementing the standard ranges, Contour’s technical design department also regularly develop bespoke radiator guards for individual projects requiring a precise or innovative solution.
Contour’s technical department will conduct an extensive site assessment before designing a solution which takes into consideration all key criteria.

Special Options

Further extending the bespoke LST radiator guard offer is Contour’s special options range. The design department at Contour has assembled a selection of additional options which can be added to your required system making it a precise solution for your individual project.
These additional special options can be included with the specification to deliver an extra degree of flexibility, allowing you to maintain design control and develop a solution for any environment, be that healthcare, education or commercial schemes.

Manifold Cabinets

ontour Manifold Cabineta delivers a full access and robust enclosure for exposed manifolds to under floor heating solutions.
This robust, aesthetic and practical solution can be specified to protect pipe work, remove tamper points and guard against injuries to vulnerable service users.
Contour manifold cabinets can be accessed internally via a unique, patented, open-hinge arrangement and drop down front door. Two quarter turn locks facilitate the unfastening of the front door, with a range of Allen Key, Pin Hex and key locks available.

Floor Ducting

Contour offers a complete range of galvanised steel flush floor ducting for laying pipework in screeded floors.
Available with lids and a full range of accessories, the ducting is suitable for use in all types of projects in both new build and refurbishment schemes, at attractive prices.
Contour CDT Floor Ducting has been designed specifically to comply with Byelaw 58-(1) of the Water Act. The galvanised steel tray is fitted to the sub-floor prior to screeding and eliminates the need for expensive and time consuming shuttering. The plywood coverboard fits flush with the floor screed and can be simply removed to allow for rapid and effective access to pipes.

Rotarad™ Rotating Radiator Valves

Gaining access behind radiators for cleaning and maintenance is fast-becoming a thing of the past with the advent of Rotarad rotating radiator valves.

Rotarad is a unique, WRAS, KTW and ACS approved rotating valve kit, which can be used on both new installation projects and retrofitted to existing radiators and eliminates many longstanding access problems.

By installing Rotarad, new or existing radiators can be rotated down to floor level for cleaning and maintenance, without having to drain or turn off the heating system, enabling fast and easy access to the rear of a radiator and the wall behind. Rotarad is fully compatible with Contour’s DeepClean range.

HVAC & Perimeter Casings

Designing and manufacturing casings for Heating, Ventilating & Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems requires more than simply producing a boxed housing for air treatment equipment. It requires careful design to ensure that the efficient functioning of an air movement system, will not be impeded by a casing form that suits the aesthetic of the interior environment.
Contour design and manufacture completely made to measure HVAC and perimeter casing to house all manner of heating and ventilation systems, whether for completely new air movement systems or as part of a repair or refurbishment project. In addition casings can be designed and manufactured on a modular basis to slot into an existing arrangement.

Aluminium Pipe Boxing

Contour aluminium pipe boxing is designed predominantly for exterior environments where a robust, weatherproof solution is require. Manufactured from 2mm or 3mm aluminium, the pipe casings are lightweight, easy to install and supplies with a long lasting powder coated finish, in virtually any RAL or BS colour.
Designed and fabricated using the latest technology, our aluminium pipe boxing excels in hostile environments and is impervious to insect/ rat attacks. Typical applications include covering pipes in district heating schemes, protecting soil and waste pipes in boxing gas pipes.
Contour aluminium pipe boxing also has the substantial benefit of being covered by a 25 year product warranty. Aluminium pipe boxing is available in a wide range of sizes, and in standard lengths of 2.5m or 3m. Bespoke lengths can also be supplied.

Preformed Plywood Pipe Boxing

Contour preformed plywood pipe boxing is available in 5mm and 8mm thicknesses. It provides a versatile and adaptable solution for concealing interior pipework in both domestic and commercial applications from bathrooms and bedrooms to major heating installations. It is particularly suitable for protecting vulnerable service users from low level exposed hot pipework. Current NHS guidance calls for all hot pipework below 2m to be boxed in. In addition as with aluminium vented plywood boxing is available.
Contour preformed plywood pipe casing is available in a choice of 2 standard lengths to ensure suitability in a wide range of specifications and project requirements. Bespoke lengths can also be supplied. It is also covered by a 2 year product warranty.

All end panels are manufactured and kept in stock in order to keep the price competitive. This forward-thinking ensures Covora Lite is delivered much quicker, with spilt delivery also available.
