CONTRACT TYPES
HEALTHCHECK BASIC
Cool Repair’s most rudimentary service involves a basic operational check and visual inspection, followed by cleaning the filter and air condenser allowing the freezer to operate efficiently. The engineer will also highlight any major faults that need immediate attention.
HEALTHCHECK PLUS
An intermediate service for companies with a tight budget and for more in depth fault finding. It includes a more detailed inspection of critical components Cool Repair has identified as most likely to fail. The Cool Repair engineer will identify any major problems and also highlight potential faults that may need remedial action in the future.
HALF YEAR HEALTHCHECK
Designed as a quick check between your full annual service. Servicing every 6 months keeps your samples safe by keeping the freezer running as its optimum. The Cool Repair engineer will identify any major faults and record any specific areas which may need to be monitored for future inspection.

Discounts are available on call outs and a flat rate for evenings, weekends and holidays, repairs, back-up freezers and other Cool Repair products and services.
CALIBRATION CERTIFICATE
Many laboratory and medical practices, i.e.: Tissue banks, are covered by strict regulations which include the need for regular servicing and calibration of critical equipment. Freezers holding such valuable samples can be calibrated during your annual service and Cool Repair will issue a calibration certificate along with the detailed service report. All instruments used by Cool Repair for calibration of the freezers are certificated to UKAS and MHRA standards.
CALIBRATION CERTIFICATE

GOING GREEN IN REPAIRS
We can now repair all equipment with green compressors and can even turn your older equipment into green equipment. The benifit of this is up to 30% reduction in electricity used, meaning an average reduction of 3-6 KvA/hr a day, that could be a saving of £175 per year. Plus the life of your freezer will be extended by having new compressors, lower power/energy load on your electric system, backup generator and cooling system.
CALL OUT
Our call out service is available between 8am and 5pm.If your freezer is starting to malfunction, or a non-essential component has broken one of our engineers will be at your facility as soon as possible. If you have a contract with Cool Repair, you will always have priority, according to the times specified. However, if your freezer suddenly breaks down out of office hours, there is a 24 hour emergency call out service available at evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
To prevent the stress of loosing valuable samples, having a backup freezer on site is another option. You can either hire from us or buy an older but technically sound cabinet from our reconditioned page.

Snijder 1000L -80 freezer
The Snijder 1000L -80 freezer offers valuable space saving solutions, so if you require a large capacity freezer but do not have the space in the laboratory, then these freezers are for you.
The 1000L -80 freezer can store upto 770 standard 2" cryo boxes and is currently the largest capacity freezer available in the UK.
Snijder also offer an 800L -80 freezer which can hold upto 616 satandard 2" cryo boxes.

Green Skadi Low energy Freezers
Skadi ultra low temperature freezers are available in two temperature ranges: -40°C and -86°C. The standard internal cabinet material is epoxy coated steel. As an option stainless steel interior is available. Both upright and chest type freezers are available. Internal volumes vary from 191 liter up to 730 litre.

Lab, Pharmacy & Blood Bank Refrigerators & Freezers
The SlimLine® has been designed with the user and the engineer in mind. This product has been designed by people who have used equipment in the laboratory. They are easy to maintain and if there are errors on the control system due to mis-use, they can eailsy be reset to the original factory settings via a USB controller connection without sending out an engineer, therefore reducing expensive call out charges.

Portable -40c & -80c & Personal Small Freezers
We supply a number of small personal freezers which can be placed on or under worktops. These come in 2 temperature ranges -40C and -86C.
Fryka Personal -86C freezer
The Personal -86 C freezer is a -86C freezer but a smaller version. The technical side remains exactly the same as the larger freezer except the chamber is smaller, between 30 to 100 litre capacity. These are ideal for day to day use by a Scientist or Student who would like to save trips to their freezer room by having certain resources at hand. The other benefits are that you do not have to open the large -86C freezer, which will take longer to come back to temperature. The small freezer also has a large compressor which enables the freezer to quickly come back to temperature.
Skadi Portable -86C freezer
Introducing a revolutionary new portable -80ºC ultra low temperature freezer Skadi. This new portable ultra low temperature freezer provides precision temperature control and three pre fixed set-points which makes it the world’s first truly portable Ultra-Low temperature freezer. The Ultra Low temperature freezer requires only 12V DC 12.5A input power and uses less than 150W of power to maintain an internal temperature of -80ºC in a 22 ºC environment (This unit can be used with a UPS and plug into the 230Volt mains or powered by a standard cigarette lighter accessory port which is available in modern automobiles).
