Heavy Duty Boat Marine 240v Mains Hook Up Lead

This Heavy duty Boat Marine 240v Mains retractable Hook Up Lead by ARC is the perfect solution for your electrical needs. With a 16amp CEE plug and 2P+E weather and splashproof connector style a push-on termination type for easy use. The lead is made from high-quality double insulated Hytrel material and comes in lengths of 10m, 15m or 20m (33 ft, 49ft or 65 ft), making it ideal for long-distance connections. The orange-coloured coiled lead has two male IP44 connectors and is designed with a blue connector style. It is compatible with wire sizes of 16AWG and has a number of poles of three. The contact material is copper, and the lead is manufactured in the United Kingdom.

As the lead is coiled it will stretch and retract as required, reducing the chance of a tripping hazard, and neatly packs away without getting tangled and tied in knots.
10m coiled lead will stretch and retract easily to 6m
15m coiled lead will stretch and retract easily to 8m
20m coiled lead will stretch and retract easily to 12m

LSZH Coiled Cables

All our LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen, sometimes also abbreviated as LSOH), coiled cables are made from H05Z1Z1-F cable.

Because they contain a flame retardant compound they are very rigid, this produces a very stiff, highly springy coil with excellent stretch and retraction. It is mainly used indoors, but can be used outside, however the jacket is not as durable as polyurethane (PUR) or PVC and can be subject to scuffs and scratches.

PUR Retractable Cables

Polyurethane cables provide a soft highly retractable coil. Very hard wearing, oil and water resistant, are halogen-free, flame-resistant, and have excellent mechanical and chemical resistance. Suitable for use in harsh environments, providing a long lasting coil retention.

Polyurethane is a highly flexible polymer commonly used in continuous flex applications. For retractile cords, a PUR jacket cable material is chosen since it has excellent memory properties. It is the preferred choice for coiled power and data cables.
