Eco Friendly Labels & Labelling
We would all like to do more for our environment, but the labelling and packaging industry has a problem, in that when trying to source a more eco-friendly and sustainable option without sacrificing quality, the finished label has always felt out of reach.
Now Customark are able to offer self-adhesive labels that look and feel no different to the common non-recyclable synthetic and wood paper versions. They can be printed in the same high quality way and converted into any label shape and size.
Compared to the usual non-recyclable self-adhesive materials which can take hundreds of years to break down, these new materials are biodegradable and compostable within months.
What are the uses for these greener materials?
With the adhesives used for coating being non-harmful biodegradable, they are a perfect fit for not only the Food Packaging but the Healthcare and Medical sector too and enable producers to certify their brand packaging as fully compostable and prove they are being more green for the environment!

Social Distancing Floor Stickers
During the Coronavirus Pandemic, Government advice has been to keep 2 meters apart in public from people who are not part of your household. Customark has created a range of social distancing floor stickers of varied sizes to place in line with Government advice; this allows you to make sure consumers or employees are adhering to instruction in your place of work. We suggest placing these stickers two metres apart in areas where people are likely to stand close such as queues, assembly lines and aisles; this will encourage people to stand on the stickers, apart from each other. We have created a collection of stickers with multiple designs to choose from, as well as different materials and lifespan options; all are heavy-duty and anti-slip.

Resin Domed Labels
Resin Domed Labels is a brand or product labelling tool across many different industries and sectors; with a large range of benefits these labels are perfect for all sorts of environments. Visually there is a noticeable different between Domed Labels and vinyl stickers, while your standard vinyl label looks 2D when applied, Domed Labels have an impressive 3D 'bubble' appearance. This is because there is a resin applied on top of a standard label; a certain amount of liquid plastic is poured on top which flows to the edges of the labels, creating a plastic dome shape.

Our most common nameplates we produce is in fact metal, they are mainly used for applications that require high levels of durability including motor casting, outdoor warning signs and industrial applications. Membrane Keypads
A Membrane Keypad / Keyboard usually forms a functional and aesthetic user interface between the control systems hardware and its software. The basic principle is that a contact behind the tactile key or non-tactile key closes an open loop in the flexible circuit which terminates on the flexible tail (FPC). They have been used in domestic and industrial applications since the early eighties. In such time, advancements in materials and processes have enabled customers to benefit from an infinite number of Membrane Keypads / Keyboard design styles and applications and also reducing the set-up costs. Customark are leading the way with advanced key backlit keypads and capacitive touch fascias. Our pro-active approach allows all our customers to benefit from our advancements in technology and processing techniques.
Capacative Touch Technology
Capacitive Touch Technology and Capacitive Flexible Circuits are more commonly being utilised on user interface than conventional fixed mechanical switches, Membrane Keypads and Graphic Overlays. The application allows the production and printing of aesthetically pleasing fascia panels with touch sensitive surfaces and unbroken surfaces. The fascia panels can be manufactured from just about any materials and terminate at a convenient FPC tail suitable for a ZIF connector or PCB mounted pins. The same capacitive touch FPC and be adhered to the underside of injection moulded fascia panels to offer a touch sensitive surface to 3D surfaces. The fascia panels can be complimented with surface mounted LED's to backlight the switch areas.

A keypad / keyboard usually forms a functional and aesthetic user interface between the control systems hardware and its software. The addition of backlighting significantly enhances the visual impact of the product or user interface. Customark are leading the way to developing and printing fully functional Backlit Keypad Fascias with illumination, something that is usually dismissed by keypad manufacturers due to a lack of experience, ability or understanding.
In Mould Labelling
In Mould Labelling or Decoration provides a diverse alternative to product marking and decoration. Customark provides side by side support for new and existing projects. Due to the tangible gains in production efficiencies that were experienced by the early adopters of this process, it has resulted in wide spread and development. This is particularly widespread in the areas of automotive and consumer products where backlighting of switchgear is achieved with plastic injection moulding. This process is rapidly advanced into In-Mould structured electronics (IMSE) where embedded electronics are applied pre-moulded appliques.
Pad Printing
From a simple single colour digit on a medical instrument, through to a 4-colour image on a frisbee. Industrial Pad Printing is a printing process that transfers a 2D image onto a 3D object by using a silicone pad to transfer the image onto virtually any shaped surface.
Due to the silicone pad having unique properties, it is able to pick up the image from a flat surface and transfer it on to a variety of surfaces including: flat spherical, cylindrical, textured, concave and convex.

Panel Printing
At Customark we use screen, tampo and digital processes to directly print onto your products or components; All managed in house in the UK. If required, we can also source components on behalf of our customers thus providing a complete turnkey operation which helps avoid awkward and costly logistics in dealing with multiple suppliers. Our depth of experience and knowledge on Panel Printing allows us to work to very tight tolerances and high levels of quality and detail. We are also able to produce multi-coloured Panel Print on irregular shapes and can print onto almost any surface.
