I received the green spider, many thanks. The lilac spider is performing very well (still on the first one). It has been running for some 100 hours without signs of wear. I think the one I was supplied by the manufacturer of the firewood processor were not to any specification and certainly not up to the job. I will feedback to them and will recommend Danum Couplings.
