Spirals & RTJ’s

Consisting of a V-shaped metal insert, spirally wound up, in combination with a soft filler material − spiral wound gaskets are suitable for use across a wide range of applications.

Sponge

Highly compressible and flexible sponge for use in many industries and home applications.

We stock a large variety of assorted materials.

‘O’ Rings & ‘O’ Ring Cord

All sizes in British Standard, Imperial and Metric are available on stock in standard NITRILE 70 ‘O’ RING material. We also stock NITRILE 70 ‘O’ RING CORD

If we do not have your ‘O’ ring on stock or it is a one off special, we are however able to offer a vulcanising solution in a quick turnaround time. Or alternatively ‘O’ Ring Kits ‘G’ and ‘H’ are available in both Nitrile and Viton, from stock.

We do offer ‘O’ rings in other materials such as; VITON 75 ‘O’ RING, EPDM 70 ‘O’ RING, RED SILICONE 70 ‘O’ RING, WHITE SILICONE 70 ‘O’ RING, PTFE and Polyurethane − as we understand the massive range in applications for ‘O’ rings.

Topogs, Tapes & Ropes

Commonly used for sealing oven and boiler doors as well as thermal protection where needed

PTFE

PTFE has a wide range of applications which makes use of its extreme chemical resistance, electrical insulation properties and thermal stability. We also hold a range of modified biaxially orientated PTFE materials, these can deal with harsh chemicals and alkalis such as hydrofluoric acid.

Reinforced Graphite

Usually used in petrochemical and steam systems due to its high temperature range. It’s high mechanical strength also means that Tanged can seal high pressures in many situations.

Rubber

We stock a massive variety of rubbers including WRAS approved rubber for use in contact with drinking water to UV stable rubber for outdoor use.

Non-Asbestos Fibre (NAF)

Since 1999 and the ban of Asbestos and CAF (Compressed Asbestos Fibre) new materials had to be developed to cover the needs of current Asbestos applications. These standard NAF’s (Non-Asbestos Fibres) are what are now readily available.

Boiler Requirements

The boiler requirements we hold cater for commercial and industrial boilers.

Gaskets

As well as standard tables such as; ASA 150, British Standard Table ‘D’, ‘E’, ‘F’ & ‘H’ and PN6/10/16/25 & 40, ranging from ½” to 42” Series A and B − we offer a one off bespoke gasket service which will always be kept on file for future use.

04/08/2021 - Here at Direct Gaskets, we have been continually working throughout the pandemic and seeing business increase rapidly. We have taken on another member of staff and continue to see our workload increase. We are incredibly fortunate to continue working and see our business go from strength to strength.

Brilliant service from this company. I had some bespoke gaskets made for some 50 year-old Motorcycles. I went to their offices in Hull. Nothing was a problem and they made me all the gaskets within about 10 days. If you ever need any gaskets making that you can’t find, I would definitely recommend this company

Great place never let you down they specialise in bespoke gasket manufacture in any quantity even if you only need 1 it''s no problem,in most cases the gaskets they make will fit the flanges better than original. You can buy materials any size you want.they have an extensive range of materials, o rings, packings, sponge, ptfe. The list goes on and on. The staff are very friendly and helpful,the prices are great too. Couldn''t fault them at all, very fast manufacture and I couldn''t recommend anywhere better.
