Flexographic Printing
Flexographic printing is a highly versatile printing solution for labels, tickets and tags; with a combination of speed and quality, your printing can be used for just about anything with just about any type of application. Flexographic labels are, for example, widely used for marketing of packaged goods because they are economical in large runs, can be printed onto a wide range of substrates and have a wide range of finishing options.
Digital Labels
If your requirement is for a small run of custom labels, digital print could well be your best option.
Digital technology has allowed printing to evolve to the point where your designs can be printed directly onto the substrate without the need for printing plates or complicated set up.

Your digital labels will be printed using the full-colour process: CMYK and printed in up to 1200dpi for high-quality images and text. This can be achieved on a variety of materials; perfect for testing out a new label design or creating sample labels for a new range or limited edition product. A range of laser approved, matte, semi-gloss and high-gloss materials can be made available, allowing us to match substrates to your specific label requirements.
Digital labels are quicker to produce than flexographic because it avoids the need for plates, set up, and washing down. Running directly from your artwork the only setup cost involved may be that of a new die cutter to trim the finished labels to size and shape - that is if we do not already own one to suit!
The Xeikons programme means sequential numbering and barcodes can be added to the artwork and printed at the same time.

Plain Labels
Plain labels are a major part of the UK label market, allowing customers to overprint their information and barcodes, in-house. We appreciate this has to be cost effective and manufacture plain labels on all our presses. We have a dedicated press (see image) to solely run plain labels, enabling us to offer great prices on your plain label requirements.
Thermal Transfer Labels
Thermal Transfer Labels can can be supplied on matt white paper or semi gloss with standard permanent adhesive.
Suitable for most surfaces including plastic, films, metal and cardboard. Finished rolls can be wound onto cores sized 12.7mm, 19mm, 25.40mm, 38.1mm, 44.45mm or 76.2mm cores, please advise your winding requirements when placing an order.
Matt white paper is ideal for packaging of boxes and pallets; product identification, and numbering, (for use with a wax ribbon). Semi gloss paper is a material with a medium gloss finish. Ideal for promotional labelling: bar-coding and quality product identification, (for use with a wax or wax resin ribbon).

Direct Thermal Labels
A direct thermal label is chemically treated and heat-sensitive so it blackens under the thermal printhead, to produce your printed label. Direct thermal label printers have no ink, toner, or ribbon. This makes thermal labels durable, easy to use and cost less to produce than inkjet, laser, impact, and thermal transfer printers.
Tickets
We supply Direct Thermal Tickets which can be printed on thicknesses ranging from 55 microns to 200 microns for use on 204 dpi and 300 dpi printers.
Our Direct Thermal Tickets can also be printed on card or paper and can be supplied on a continuous roll or as fan fold tickets.
