The advanced software programmes developed by DWS offer canine therapists an almost limitless range of treatments to enable even the most compromised dog to improve or fully recover. Detailed records of all treatments are automatically produced in PDF files for use by referring vets.
Door Sensor

A sensor is fitted to each door to detect if the door is properly closed. If not, the treadmill cannot be filled.Thus, accidental flooding is prevented.
Large Touch Screen

Large Touch Screen

A large 15 inch touchscreen provides easy control of all functions, and all on one page. The display can be rotated through 320 degrees making it easy to operate from inside the treadmill, or outside.
Powered Incline

Powered Incline

The belt can be tilted by an electrically powered actuator. The action is controlled through the touch screen so that the angle of incline can be chosen at any point in its movement.
Safety

Safety

Safety is a priority for DWS and so a full length pull cord is fitted down one side of the treadmill within easy reach at any position in the treadmill. Safety stop switches are also fitted on the display cabinet and the main control cabinet.
Cleaning

Cleaning

The chamber can be easily cleaned by manually raising the treadmill belt. The weight of the conveyor is supported by two pneumatic rams in a similar way to that of a car bonnet. Thus it is safe and easy to operate.

Occasionally DWS will take a used treadmill of their own or other manufacture in part exchange for a new DWS model. We often purchase second hand treadmills outright without part exchange. The photo shown left is of a DWS treadmill but this policy could apply to any treadmill produced by another reputable manufacturer.

In all cases the treadmill be stripped down and all components checked and replaced where necessary. This will include bearings and a new conveyor belt. Depending on design it may be possible to include a powered incline system

05/05/2022 - Aquatic Canine Therapy Ltd. On the morning of the 25th April 2022, we faced a major problem when our circulation pump suddenly failed and left us with no means of heating water for our DWS underwater treadmill.
29/04/2022 - A Happy Customer We have been providing Small Animal Hydrotherapy for over 10 years using both Pool & Water Treadmill, we have 4 therapists and treat around 100 animals (mainly dogs) per week (Covid permitting !!) about 25% go through the treadmill We first came across DWS Hydrotherapy in 2018 and in November we placed an order for their treadmill in a part exchange deal for our old treadmill which we had had for about 9 years.
