DC & AC Calibration
Many of our calibrations can be issued with UKAS certificates and all are available as calibrations traceable to national standards, all collected and returned to you within 5 working days and transported via our specially designed padded vans.
We offer a comprehensive range of calibration for both DC and LF parameters all of which are carried out in our dedicated calibrations Standards Room which is environmentally controlled.

RF & Microwave Calibration
Within the environmentally controlled RF Standards Room we offer a comprehensive range of RF and microwave measures, UKAS up to 18 GHz and traceable to national standards up to 40 GHz.
High Voltage Calibration
Industry now has to comply with high standards for the electrical safety of manufactured products and has to test at ever higher voltages and lower currents to meet the demands of the Low Voltage Directive.
Our UKAS accreditation in High Voltage measurements enables us to calibrate even the latest families of electrical safety testers despite their very demanding specifications.

EMC Test Equipment Calibration
Our UKAS Approved Centres for EMC Testing and Calibration give us the specialist knowledge to run a world-class One Stop Shop for the full range of EMC & RF Calibration. ETC’s specialised EMC Calibration service is used by UKAS EMC Test Houses throughout the world and also by manufacturers with their own Pre-Compliance Test Systems.
Temperature Calibration
We can calibrate instruments from thermocouples to multi-channel chart recorders and data loggers.
Pressure Calibration
Our traceable to national standards pressure calibration service provides absolute measurement from 1mbar to 800bar, and gauge pressure measurements from -1 bar to 800 bar.
Torque & Force Calibration
We offer traceable to national standards torque calibration for most torque & force instruments and calibration of a range of force measuring devices from 0.01 Nm to 200 Nm.
Dimensional Calibration
We offer traceable calibration of general dimensional engineering tools. Calibration takes place in our dedicated environmentally controlled Mechanical Standards Room, because a difference of just 1 degree in temperature could affect the calibration results. Dimensional instruments are calibrated for compliance with either the British Standard or the manufacturer’s specification and all certificates are traceable to National Standards. Collected, Calibrated and Returned, within 5 working days.
On-Site Calibration & EMC Testing
We understand that it is not always convenient or practical to send us your equipment for Calibration or EMC Testing. Because of this, we offer an On-Site service, where one or more of our Engineers can come to you for anywhere from 1 day to 2 weeks, in which time they can perform all the calibrations or EMC Testing that is required, anywhere in the UK and even Europe.
We have full and comprehensive insurance for this service and offer bespoke packages to suit your business and make sure that calibrations are performed on schedule drastically reducing your down time and increasing your productivity.

On-Site Transient Calibration
Eurofins ETC can provide a UKAS Accredited Calibration of a range of transient generators which can be carried out either within our calibration laboratory or on-site at your location.
Our calibration engineers can visit your site and carry out a UKAS Accredited Calibration of your equipment to the same exacting standards as our customers have come to expect from the lab calibration services that we provide.
By having your equipment calibrated on-site, the amount of time that your equipment is unavailable is significantly reduced and your equipment can be back in action as soon as the calibration is completed.

UKAS Accredited Calibration of complex quantities using LFVNA (Low-Frequency Vector Network Analysis).
This comprehensive service delivers a high quality and UKAS-Accredited calibration of your devices attenuators, terminations, calibration kits, etc… and allows you to ensure the validity of your measurement chain.
Our LFVNA calibration services cover a wide range of parameters and measurement ranges and allow us to cover any test equipment or test system. Measurements of the complex quantities are made in a 50 Ω coaxial system using the latest vector network analysis techniques.

Commercial EMC Testing
In our commercial EMC testing facility we have full UKAS accreditation to carry out EMC testing on a wide variety of commercial products. Our EMC test Engineers have an abundance of commercial EMC testing experience and are happy to work with you to establish exactly what your EMC test requirements are.
Our EMC test facilities include, Open Area Test Site (OATS) for commercial EMC testing at 3m & 10m ranges. Fully anechoic chamber and semi-anechoic chamber with 3m range for RFI testing and pre-compliance radiated emissions.

Military EMC Testing
We have extensive experience of working with military products and testing EMC Standards. ETC Has extensive experience and specialises in working to Def Std 59-411 & 59-41 as well as US Mil Std 461D, 461E, 461F & 461G. We were also the first lab in the UK to gain accreditation for NATO Standard AECTP-500. This NATO standard is a combination of the UK Defence Standard and US Military Standard requirements and is now beginning to appear as a requirement on new military contracts.

ETC has EMC testing capabilities to test to a wide variety of vehicle test standards required within the Automotive sector.
Our reverberation chambers allow us to reach the high RF fields required for immunity testing. The large reverberation chamber has a double door entry system and 15m³ test area allowing us to take very large test units and large wiring looms without the need for setup rearrangements, which can be time consuming.

Aerospace EMC Testing
EMC testing for Aerospace is a crucial part of safety. Imagine if whilst in flight, a component fails due to interference from a portable DVD player or a mobile phone.

Pre-Compliance EMC Testing
The equipment is briefly subjected to sections of the relevant test program so that any design problems may show up. Our EMC Engineers have years of experience working with customer products and unlike many other labs, we do not charge consultancy fees for helping you find the information and design ideas that help your product pass the relevant standard.
Our dedicated EMC Laboratory is booked out in half day slots and the EMC Engineers are in place to help you whilst you are with us, whether that be with direct testing or to aid in improving EMC properties of your equipment.
