Evacuation Chair Std

Our entry-level tracked evacuation chair, the Standard model has a 150Kg weight capacity and provides a basic and cost-effective solution for those with limited budget spend without compromising on performance. A cost-effective evacuation solution.

Excel-e Powered Evacuation Chair

The Excel-e builds on the strengths of our class-leading manual Excel chair with the introduction of power. Designed to enable a single operator the ability to DESCEND or ASCEND a vulnerable person with a touch of a button. In addition, to use as a means for evacuation, the Excel-e has the potential to be used as a mobile stairlift.

Transit Chair: Folding 4 Wheel Model

Primarily used to transport persons across level surfaces to a place of safety, our 4 Wheel Transit Chairs is similar to those used by hospitals and ambulance services and they can be used to carry patients either up or down the stairs.
Note: A minimum of 2 operators are required to carry the chair but additional may be necessary depending on the weight to be lifted. Because of the lifting and Manual Handling involved, it is recommended that full Risk Assessment and PEEP should be carried out prior to purchase.

Transit Chair: 4 Wheel Plus

An enhanced version of the basic Transit chair for transferring of a person requiring additional comfort and support across level surfaces or carry patients up or down a flight of stairs.
Note: A minimum of 2 operators are required to carry the chair but additional may be necessary depending on the weight to be lifted.

Tri-Wheel Transit Chair

The Tri-Wheel Transit Chair is ideal for use on routes with several stairs to the exit point for organisations that perhaps have minimum staff available, the innovative tri-wheel system can assist the operators in reducing the manual handling required to ascend or descend the stairs.

Note: A minimum of 2 operators are required to carry the chair but additional may be necessary depending on the weight to be lifted.

Premium Plus EvacuSlider

With an increased working load of 182kg (28.6 st), the Premium Plus Evacuslider has been designed to assist with the horizontal evacuation of larger persons, including bariatric patients, from care homes, hospitals or other public buildings.
Made from a tough, wipe clean material, patient comfort and support come from the thick foam mattress, while the integrated foot pocket and 3 extra-wide safety harnesses help to secure and cocoon the client. In addition, the molded head cushion offers further protection.

Premium Adjustable EvacuSlider Rescue Sheet

The Premium Adjustable Evacuslider really does take rescue-sheets to the next level and now supersedes the Excel Evacuslider due to its popularity. It is fully adjustable and flexible enough to fit people of varying heights and sizes. It has been developed with children and smaller adults in mind, although it may be adjusted to take larger people. It provides an ideal evacuation solution for Schools as well as NHS establishments, Hospitals, Care Homes and Nursing Homes.

Stairclimber (PT S)

The Stairclimber (PT S) model features advanced stairclimbing technology and can handle any challenge. The 130 model is designed for people up to 130kg while the 160 model is suitable for people up to160 kg. The soft upholstered and ergonomically-shaped seat guarantees a comfortable ride.
The stairclimber doesn’t start moving down steps until the brake wheels on the lifting mechanism have reached the next step. With this level of safety, the LIFTKAR PT can be manoeuvred relaxed and confidently with an upright posture and without straining your back.

The Stairclimber (PTR) model is a tracked stairclimber that helps you safely convey wheelchair users up and downstairs that has been specially developed for operating on straight steps. Wheelchair users can now move around more freely and helpers no longer need to strain their backs on the stairs.

Evac Chair Basic Operator Course (On-site)

This course will take you through the setting up and safe operation of the Evac Tracked Evacuation Chair. You will also learn about the current legislation and issues that affect a mobility impaired person. Upon completion you will be issued with a Basic Operators Certificate. Price includes training for up to 8 people.

Evac Chair Key Trainer Course (On-site)

This course will provide you with the knowledge and experience that enables you to provide the Basic Operator Training to other members of staff within your organisation. Upon completion, you will be issued with a Key Trainer Certificate. Price includes training for up to 4 people.

Fire Safety Evacuation Chairs

The evacuation chair is designed for ease of use for the user. When the situation demands, a single person can deploy the tracked evacuation chair on the stair way and maneuver the chair and patient safely to the ground level. The smooth and controlled descent ensures the patient and the user a risk free and safe journey to escape the building when lifts are not in use reducing manual handling and the need for heavy lifting.

Transit Chairs & Ambulance Chairs

The transit chair is designed to primarily transport persons across a flat level surface. Used both by hospitals and ambulance services the patient transit chair can also be used to carry patients up and down the stairs, however this will physical strength and would need to be carried out by 2, 3 or 4 people dependant on the person his needs moving. Due to lifting and manual handling involved it is recommended that a full risk assessment and PEEP should be carried out. The transit chair has a lift capacity of up to 120Kg.

Evacuslider Rescue-Sled

The Evacuslider is a modern version of the resuce sheets used in hospitals and care homes designed to allow the patient to slide across safely in the event of an emergency such as a fire evacuation. Unlike older designs of rescue sheets the Evacuslider is easily to deploy. Made from a thick foam mattress (80mm thick) you can be rest assured the patient is comfortable when be transported. The cost effective Evacuslider is a valuable piece of patient evacuation equipment overcoming difficulties in emergency evacuations due to the restricted width of narrow corridors, staircases and fire escapes. The Evacuslider has built in carry handles, support strap and large foot pocket ensuring that the patient can be carried horizontally as well as safely down staircases.

I had a little problem with an Excel chair, which I reported to the company. I was absolutely delighted with their customer service. Dave arrived when he said he would and was very courteous and helpful. I was very impressed by his journey through Britain! Coming all the way from Basingstoke to Northumberland to collect the chair.
