Over the last 30 years, we have gained experience in a vast array of sectors from fashion retail design to banking design, supermarket to shopping centre, hotel to high street and airport.
We focus on the way people shop and shape the retail design to maximise their experience of the retail journey.
Retail is about fulfilling sales, matching product with customers and building loyalty. We focus on creating long term customer satisfaction through the ease of communication and forming the shopping experience to reflect the brand best. We have worked very closely with many clients over many years, and this has given us an insight into the operational factors from a clients perspective. We bring this to bear in our design solutions, helping to ease the process and your customer experience.

A recommendation had been made by The Friends of St George’s to improve the external signing of the Chapel. The brief was to improve the flow of visitors/tourists to the entrance to St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, as well as increase recognition of the Chapel identity within the Castle whilst being sympathetic to this famous heritage site.
Exposed Design Consultants graphic design and wayfinding background, along with the practical experience of the Chapel, was an ideal combination to address the brief.
The Solution
We carried out a wayfinding review and explored how signage could be successfully be integrated into the Grade 1 Scheduled environment of Windsor Castle.
The flow of tourists to Windsor Castle leads them to the first door to the Chapel which is, in fact, the exit. The entrance is not visible from this point and so signage was required to both highlight no entry and point in the direction of the entrance.

David has experience in a wide range of industries, including retail and corporate. There are times when a project takes on lasting significance, and David has experienced this several times. Specifically, he challenged the way we all think about the provenance of our food through supermarket retail and its communication, as well as how high street banking has become more customer-focused in branch and online.
In this challenging economic climate, it is important to be aware of the dynamics as well as the challenges. To clarify persuasive messages, we focus on the audience and products of our customers, from banks to fashion, supermarkets to travel retail.
We cross-fertilize across market sectors and design disciplines, breaking boundaries and bringing new ideas to life.
David is the Federation of Small Businesses' North London Area Leader. He works as part of the London FSB team, supporting members and improving the business environment locally and regionally.
