The common causes of concrete deterioration are carbonation and chlorides. Un-maintained structures and buildings can become dangerous as steel reinforcement corrosion commences and the expansive forces create spalling and loose sections of concrete to fall to ground.

Bird Netting
Professionally installed Bird Netting is one of the most popular methods of bird control. It is suitable for all levels of bird infestation; it is versatile, discreet, durable and humane. It doesn’t absorb water, it doesn’t stretch, and it’s chemically inert.
Bird Netting can be used vertically or horizontally, in small or large areas. The very wide range of fixings offered means that the netting can be suspended on virtually any structure or substrate.
With specially designed fittings, it can even be used to protect roofs. Access behind the nets is achieved by installing net zips or clips.
When properly installed by our technicians Bird Netting is very difficult to see from only a few metres away. Very often the only evidence is a shadow against the sky. A tight, well installed Bird Netting System of the right mesh size is the only proofing solution which can be confidently offered to solve virtually any urban bird problem.
In some cases a spiking system is required. Bird spikes are a humane and effective deterrent to the problem of birds roosting and nesting on ledges, signs, roofs, windows, pipes, in fact any building structure.

Industrial Rope Access is a proven method of achieving a safe work position at height or in areas of difficult access. It answer the need for a simple, safe and adaptable means of access with its first large scale use being for inspections on the oil and gas platforms of the North Sea.
