FIREFLY™ FD30 Fire Door System
DESCRIPTION
FIREFLY™ have independently fire tested the installation of a market-leading Halspan FD30 interior 44mm fire door blank as part of a FIREFLY™ flexible fire barrier system, achieving a minimum of 30 minutes Fire Protection across the full installation.
USE AREAS
Used in larger roof voids such as hospitals and care homes where a full size access door is required through a compartmentation zone, while retaining the same fire integrity for the complete installation as the rating for the FIREFLY™ flexible barrier used.
CONSTRUCTION
Door blank is 3-layer particle board, door frame may be timber hardwood, softwood, MDF or aluminium.
FIREFLY™ barrier manufactured using layers of woven and non woven glass fibre, specially treated with a proprietary coating to greatly increase fire resistance, and aluminium foil.
FIREFLY™ Phoenix Smoke & Fire Barrier
Certified by IFCC, FIREFLY™ Phoenix exceeds the minimum requirements of UK Building Regulations: Approved Document B (Fire Safety) for integrity only.
Manufactured using specially treated woven glass fabrics, the material is lightweight and easy to install.
Firefly™ Phoenix Horizontal
FIREFLY™ Phoenix Horizontal is designed to work as part of a fire protection system and does not provide insulation properties.

FIREFLY™ Membrane WP
FIREFLY™ MEMBRANE WP is a non-combustible, fire resistant membrane that achieves Class A2 (EN13501-1). Vapour permeable and suitable for use as a lining within ventilated facade systems, including applications above 18 metres.
CONSTRUCTION
FIREFLY™ MEMBRANE WP is a strong, breathable woven glass substrate aluminised on one side, suitable for jointing with foil tape.
FIREFLY™ Membrane NB
FIREFLY™ MEMBRANE NB is a premium quality and fire resistant non breathable membrane. Made from a strong, durable woven glass substrate laminated to aluminium foil, FIREFLY™ MEMBRANE NB is a non-breathable, weatherproof barrier with excellent mechanical properties designed to be an impermeable water barrier or reflective insulation layer in commercial wall applications.
FIREFLY™ MEMBRANE NB meets EN 13501-1 (Class A2), for non-combustibility and BS 476 parts 6&7 for resistance to spread of flame.
FIREFLY™ MEMBRANE NB is lightweight, extremely strong, durable and easy to install. (Note: joins between membrane layers should be sealed with FIREFLY™ Foil Tape.
Fire Hood & Downlight Covers
In the event of a fire the Fire Hood or Downlight Covers will delay the progress of fire and smoke travelling through a ceiling, thereby providing precious time for occupants to safely exit the building and emergency services to minimise fire damage.

FIREFLY™ Access Panel FR120
DESCRIPTION
The FIREFLY™ Access Panel FR120 is tested against EN 1363-1 to provide up to 120 minutes fire resistance. The heavy duty steel construction facilitates simple installation and secure, repeated access while preserving the performance integrity of the overall fire system.
USE AREAS
Used primarily in roof voids and lofts to provide reliable and safe access for maintenance and trades people to gain access to areas compartmentalised by FIREFLY™ fire barriers. Critically, the Access Panel FR120 allows repeated and safe access avoiding damage to the fire barriers in place.
CONSTRUCTION
Heavy duty Zintec steel used in the flush door panel and 25mm frame, available up to 1200 x 600mm door size. Heavy duty hinge and 3 locking points also steel. Pillow of FIREFLY™ fire barrier fitted to rear of door, with an intumescent seal around. Installed within a unistrut frame. Locking handles supplied fitted to both sides, or supplied with a standard turnkey instead of handles.
