Galvanised Liquistore / Firestore
For standard fire sprinkler water storage applications or general industrial water storage requirements, the Liquistore ® / Firestore ® tank is a cost effective solution.
Using site assembled components, consisting of overlapped and bolted galvanised steel panels with either a trough deck or aluminium sectional site assembled cover, together with an internal, open top membrane liner, the Liquistore ® / Firestore ® offers a truly long life and low maintenance water storage system.

Aluminium Liquistore / Firestore
The tank is of cylindrical bolted construction, made from EN 48S-2 Type EN AW 5083- H22 aluminium alloy with aluminium angle strengthening hoops of Grade 6082-T4 at the top and bottom, and is supplied with an aluminium low profile sectional cover incorporating a ball valve housing and access way.
In addition the tank is fitted with an open top internal membrane liner. The assembled tank is clamped down with anchor bolts fixed to the base.

VORTIBREAK® Anti-Vortex Plates
Franklin Hodge Industries offers a range of tested and approved pump suction anti-vortex plates, suitable for use in fire sprinkler and general water storage tanks. Vortibreak® anti-vortex plates supplied by Franklin Hodge Industries meet with and are certified and listed by the following internationally recognised approval authorities:

Galvanised Tritainer
For small to medium capacities of water storage, where space is at a premium, the Tritainer ®/ Firetainer ® tank offers a cost effective solution.
Using triangular shaped galvanised steel panels which make up 1.0m2 modules that are then bolted together on site, a rapidly assembled rectangular tank that can fit into small and difficult spaces can be provided. Internally a hot vulcanised tailor made membrane liner is fitted to the tank. Any length and width can be catered for, with a maximum height of 2.575m.

Where space is at a premium, the Liquitainer ® / Firetainer ® tank is an ideal solution for bulk water storage indoors or out. A wide range of shapes and any length or width can be catered for, with a maximum height of 5.35m.
Using steel sections of either rectangular, circular or u-beams, a structure is formed which eliminates the need for internal bracing. Galvanised steel panels are bolted between the sections and the interior is fitted with an open top tailored membrane liner. Alternative covers are available either flat with a raised ball valve housing for indoor use, or with a low profile pitch for outdoor use.

Glass Coated Liquistore
Cylindrical tanks assembled from glass fused to steel plates have been part of the Franklin Hodge range for over thirty years. The particular design and material finish on our Glass Coated Liquistore ® allow us to extend our liquid storage tank capability for our customers.
Water Tank Refurbishment
Franklin Hodge Industries can offer a comprehensive tank refurbishment service. Where an existing tank shell can be re-used, an effective tailor made service can be offered that will renew the existing installation and provide many years of faithful service. Refurbishment of existing tanks can save both time and money, as well as cutting to the minimum the inconvenience of a shut off water system, be this for a fire sprinkler or potable / cold water services / building services tank. In the case of potable / cold water services / building services tanks, it is vitally important that the stored water be kept in a wholesome condition, as required under the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999, Health & Safety at Work Acts and Control of Substances hazardous to health regulations.

Water Tank Liners
Franklin Hodge Industries standard range of water storage tanks is fitted with tailor made liners in either butyl rubber or EPDM material. Both materials are flexible synthetic membranes, ideal for lining water tanks and have similar properties.
Underwater Camera
To add to our comprehensive tank inspection service we can offer an internal survey of the tank, where full, using a remote operated submersible camera unit.
A video of the interior of the tank can be produced and presented as part of an assessment report. Using the submersible camera unit means that the tank does not need to be drained, thereby avoiding the need of increased insurance premiums in the case of a fire tank and for alternative water supplies to be arranged, in the case of drinking water or process water tanks. The cost replacing the stored water and the overall environmental impact is eliminated or greatly reduced.
