Anti-Reflection Coated Germanium Windows

We supply a wide range of anti-reflection coated germanium windows in a variety of shapes and sizes, both off the shelf and custom-made for your exact requirements.

IPL Lightguides

IPL Lightguide glass blocks are the contact point with the skin during IPL procedures. They are used to transmit the light being being flashed at the appropriate wavelength, through the applicator, and onto the treatment area.
Lightguides can either have a flat or cylindrical radius along the full length of the surface that comes into contact with the patient's skin.
All faces, bevels and chamfers are fully polished to ensure there is no possibiblity of skin damage during the treatment process.
Standard IPL Lightguides are manufactured from BK7 optical glass. We also manufacture in Fused Silica on request

Microscope Cover Slips

A cover glass, cover slip or coverslip or is a thin flat piece of transparent material usually square or rectangular in shape that is placed over objects for viewing with a microscope. The object is usually held between the cover slip and a thicker microscope slide which rests on the microscope's stage or slide holder and provides the physical support for the object and slip.

BALZERS Dichroic Filter

BALZERS Dichroic filters / mirrors meet very narrow spectral band edge tolerances, highest degree of spectral stability and very low residual optical absorption loss. The BALZERS dichroic filters/mirrors are produced with a unique sputtering deposition process, providing very dense filter coatings with excellent optical and mechanical stability, both at higher operating temperatures and under varying environmental conditions.

Chance Pilkington Filters

Although no longer in production, the Chance Pilkington filters were an industry leading range of optical filter materials. We have existing stock of most of the filter materials and will be making these available for both online stock filters and custom requirements.
Where applicable we will be showing transmission in comparsion to the closest current equivalent material.
New filter types will be added to the online stock as they are manufactured.

Didymium Calibration Filters

DIDYMIUM filters exhibit known absorption at specific wavelengths making these type filters perfectly suited for wavelength calibration

Heat Absorbing Filters

These HEAT ABSORBING FILTERS are manufactured from genuine HOYA material from the HA range, offering increased Infrared ( IR ) blocking due to the addition of IR block coatings
Heat absorbing HOYA glass filters are used as heat absorption filters. These filters work by absorbing the infrared ( IR ) region and allowing the heat to dissipate into the air. The filters listed below have been toughened/tempered to give increased resistance to mechanical and thermal shock reducing the risk of breakage.

HOYA Bandpass Filters

A HOYA ® band-pass filter passes frequencies within a certain range and rejects (attenuates) frequencies outside that range
Hoya ® Bandpass optical glass filters made from Hoya® colour glass have a specific transmission band surrounded by blocking bands either side that only allow the required section of the spectrum to pass

KOPP Uranium Filter Glass

KOPP Uranium 3780 Filters - Stock filters available below and custom sizes available on request
We have large stock of KOPP 3780 URANIUM YELLOW filter material and can supply in sizes up to 165mm

Photopic Eye Response Filter

Galvoptics' photopic filters transmit from the optical wavelengths range above 200nm. Photopic eye response filters pass wavelengths of light in proportion to the eyes' natural response. When used in combination with a broadband source and detector, the transmission is very similar to the human eye spectral response.

BK7 Right Angle Prism

Right angle prisms are typically used to bend image paths or redirect light at 90°. This produces a left handed image and depending on the orientation of the prism, the image may be inverted or reverted. Right angle prisms can also be used in combination for image/beam displacement. N-BK7 Right Angle Prisms are made from precision N-BK7 for use in a variety of visible light applications.
A right-angle prism may be used as a 90° reflector or 180° retroreflector by means of total internal reflection
Other than minor reflection losses from the entry and exit faces, TIR exhibits 100% reflectivity over a wide wavelength range. The hypotenuse can also be used as a first surface reflector. In this application, the overcoat of black paint should be removed
Right Angle Prisms can be orientated to produce inverted or reverted left handed images,. Two Right Angle Prisms can be used for image or beam displacement applications. These prisms are also referred to as image reflection or reflecting prisms.

BK7 Windows

Our stock N-BK7 windows are ideally suited for medical, scientific and industrial applications and are available with a MgF2 anti-reflection coating or uncoated.
N-BK7 windows are often used as a protective front element.

Whilst we list below a range of stock BK7 windows we are also able to manufacture sizes to suit your application.

Calcium Fluoride CaF2 Windows

Calcium Fluoride ( CaF2 ) windows can be used for Ultraviolet (UV) through to Infrared (IR) applications, due to its transmission range from 160nm up to 8 microns.
Calcium Fluoride offers Low Absorption and High Transmission. UV Grade Calcium Fluoride can be used down to 160n
IR grade can be used for Applications Ranging from 250nm through to 8μm
Calcium fluoride's low refractive index allows it to be used without an anti-reflective coating.

The Schott annular Ringlights offer a continuous ring of illumination fiber within the housing, benefitting from absolute shadow-free illumination and no interference with light guides in work area.

SCHOTT EasyLed System

EasyLED Series - Ergonomic illumination for stereo microscopy
Employing the newest technologies, SCHOTT has integrated high brightness LEDs and controller electronics into the head of the illuminators. This saves space on the workbench and allows easy and ergonomic operation, directly on the microscope. There is no need to remove eyes from the eyepieces to find a controller box somewhere on the bench. Continuous dimming and a separate on/off switch keep the settings unchanged for the next day's session.

• The SCHOTT cold light sources KL 200, KL 1500 LCD, KL 1500 compact,
KL 1500 LED and KL 2500 LCD have an integrated filter holder, filter
slide or filter wheel.
> Insert filters are placed inside of the light source and evenly illuminate the
entire fiber bundle and can be used with all standard fiberoptics for the
respective light source.
> Filter change is extremely easy with the filter drawer and filter wheel.
> All SCHOTT insert filters are color interference filters with hard oxide
layers, which withstand the extreme temperatures at the focal point of
the halogen reflector bulb.
