Gate Automation Specialists provide a wide variety of Swing Gate Automation systems, our swing gate products are the perfect solution for electric swing gates and range from operators that are suited to small pedestrian gates, right up to operators suited for commercial heavy duty applications on gates.

On Gate Swing Automation
Our on gate swing automation products can be electro-mechanical or hydraulic, which can be mounted on to the gate. On Gate swing automation adds security, convenience and safety to gates, this means of access control means that gates can be opened remotely adding to convenience.

Automation can be added to existing swing gates in most cases and we are also able to supply and fit new metal or timber gates with automation. All of our gates are bespoke designs and made to measure so whatever your choice of design we can create the affect your looking to achieve.

Automation on swing gates can be via above ground ram arms or underground motors. We are able to offer the choice of electromechanical systems or hydraulic. All of our automation installations are fitted with the required safety requirements and comply with the machinery directive, and are CE marked.

Our engineers are Part P qualified so that we can certificate any electric works undertaken, and we provided a full handover pack and demonstration at the end of each project.

Hydraulic gate operators are used worldwide for applications that require swinging heavy gates over 400 lbs. Although mechanical gate operator manufacturers rate their products for higher gate weights, in practice mechanical gate openers don't holdup over the long term at the higher gate weights.

Mechanical Gate Openers - Above Ground

An electric gate opener is the mechanised arm that helps your automatic gate open and close. A signal is sent from an access control, such as a remote control or keypad that tells the motor to open or close the gate. It will automatically reverse in direction if it hits an obstacle and can stay open if instructed.

Hydraulic Gate Openers - Under Ground

Domestic Sliding Gates

Sliding gates offer a number of advantages over swing gates. A sliding gate requires less space, which allows the full length of the driveway to be usable for parking vehicles. It also offers higher security due to the stronger resistance to being pushed open than swing gates. Sliding gates will also work on an upward sloping driveway where a pair of swing gates would not be able to open inward.

Gate Automation Safety

Directive MD2006/42/EC and supporting standards as highlighted by recent safety advisories from the Health & Safety Executive. We take all necessary steps to meet compliance with the Machine Directive to ensure that completed products are safe.

In addition we create a technical file of which is supplied with the finished gate product. All of our finished installations will be properly CE marked as required. In the Technical file, will be included:

Declaration of Conformity
CE Marked stamp or label
Guide for Safe Use of Gate (operational instructions)

Risk Assessment is an essential requirement and is used by us to demonstrate that a gate is safe to be used.
