Stainless Steel Worktop Configurations

Stainless steel worktops from GEC Anderson are made-to-measure, to your precise size, specification and requirements. They provide unrivalled design freedom and feature hygienic, continuous, worksurfaces with no crevices, no joints and no dirt-traps.

- Irregular forms can be supplied in one piece - including L-shapes, U-shapes and curves.
- Sink bowls are arranged and configured to suit individual requirements and are integral with the worktop.
- Comprehensive range of integrated edge profiles that are adaptable to meet your specific requirements.
- Cut-outs and tap holes provided as required.

Maximum length: 6500mm with maximum return to L-shapes: 2300mm (Max size for textured finish is 2400 x 1150mm).

Worktop Edges

We offer a comprehensive range of edge profiles to suit most environments and requirements.

- Edges can be specified in various combinations
- Details and dimensions can be varied
- Worktops are bonded to 19mm substrate for added solidity, sound deadening and ease of installation
- Special substrate thickness can be specified (eg. for deeper edges)
- Stainless steel legs add 20mm to standard worktop edge thickness

Integrated Stainless Steel Sinks

GEC Anderson industrial stainless steel sinks are seamlessly integrated within GEC Anderson stainless steel worktops − exactly where specified. Their clean and sleek appearance is easy to maintain and is combined with unrivalled practicality, hygiene and safety.

GEC Anderson stainless steel sinks can be specified as single, double or any other combinations and are available separately (e.g. to inset or undermount within other worktops).

- Minimum distance from any worktop edge to bowl: 35mm (70mm when mounted on stainless steel legs)
- Minimum distance between two or more single bowls: 35mm
- Minimum space required for tapholes: 80mm
- Bowl sizes refer to internal measurements (excluding flange)
- Non-standard sizes available to order
- Outlet positions vary
- 89mm hole with basket strainer waste (BSW) is standard. Option: Ø38mm plug-waste and overflow
- Tapholes are provided as required.

Steel Splashbacks & Panels

A steel splashback from GEC Anderson is made to measure using brushed satin stainless steel and with folded edges and welded corners.

Please note: splashbacks with unwelded corners are also available.

- Maximum size: 3000mm x 1500mm or 4000mm x 1000mm
- Jointed sections recommended for larger areas
- Cut-outs (e.g. for sockets) available as required
- Standard thickness: 15mm or 20mm with waterproof chipboard substrate.

Flat sheet splashbacks either with or without substrate are also available upon request.

Stainless Steel Cupboards

Elegantly designed cabinets that are extremely robust and functional whilst requiring minimal maintenance.Doors (vertically hinged) and drawer-fronts can also be supplied with integrated recessed handles; with D-handles; or with plain, for use with your own hardware.

Stainless Steel Legs & Brackets

GEC ANDERSON UNDER-FRAMES

For free-standing worktops (including worktops by others). Made from robust 30 x 30mm square section tube with adjustable feet (0 - 70mm) and barred shelf. Option: solid or multiple undershelves. Option: manual or electrically operated hydraulic height adjustment (300mm).

GEC ANDERSON CANTILEVER BRACKETS

Stainless steel cantilever brackets V21 and V22 are made from 30 x 30mm square section tube with 20 x 20mm cross brace. Option: undershelf support arm.

Stepless Stainless Steel Shelving Systems

The GEC Anderson 3-part V90 stainless steel shelving system, comprising of shelves, uprights and brackets, can be used to create versatile, durable, hygienic and attractive configurations suited to a wide range of applications.

The uprights of each stainless steel shelving unit allow simple ‘stepless’ adjustment (un-slotted linear adjustment) of shelf positions to whenever required using a single locating bolt per bracket. This versatile system provides a more ergonomic and efficient way of working for the user.

Specifications are as follows:

- Shelf lengths of up to 4000mm
- Shelf widths: 200 / 300 / 400 / 500mm
- Uprights: 400 / 600 / 800 / 1000 / 1500 / 1800 / 2000mm
- Brackets 170 / 270 / 370 / 470 / 570mm
- Solid shelves. Option: Perforated shelves (eg. to allow for drying)

Individual components are also available separately, for use in combination with other materials. E.g. glass shelves.

Series A sinks are available in an unrivalled range of single, double and combination sizes and are of the highest quality.

Stainless Steel Basins

GEC Anderson stainless steel basins are designed to combine the most important of stainless steel's qualities: hygiene and strength, whilst maintaining an attractive and professional appearance. GEC Anderson wash basins are available singly or in series (multiples).

DECIMETRIC Classic

A flexible system of Plain Sink & Worktop Configurations
- Choose Surface length between 5 - 38 Dm (500 - 3800 mm).
- Choose Surface width 6 or 7 Dm (600 or 700 mm).
- Select bowls as required.
- Choose edge profiles (lipped or square edges).

Surfaces can be combined with Legs and Frames, including cabinets and drawer systems.

Sand Traps

We offer two standard options for separation of sand, gypsum or other solids, such as mercury, from water.

Anti-Vandal Stainless Steel Mirrors

GEC Anderson stainless steel mirrors are lightweight and offer a superb reflection, thus providing a safe and durable alternative to glass.

Stainless steel mirrors are unbreakable and are therefore ideal for environments where safety, hygiene and heavy use or abuse is likely. Typical applications include food services, prisons, public buildings, hospitals, schools etc.

GEC Anderson stainless steel safety mirrors are available with the following features:
- Made to order in any size to a maximum of 2400mm x 1200mm
- Manufactured from 1mm, high grade (EN1.4301), mirror polished stainless steel
- Available with square or rounded corners - please specify
- Easy to fix using either adhesive or screws
- Screw-holes are provided as required.
