CBR Testing

Using the plate bearing method carried out for clients who require information relating to materials used when undertaking projects such as road and pavement design car parks/loading areas or temporary foundations for pile mats or crane outrigger pads / industrial units, and a wide range of civil and groundworks the (CBR) test is also useful for determining the thickness of materials needed for further proposed construction.

Incremental − Plate Load-Bearing Testing

The Plate load-bearing test or (Plate Load Test) is an in-situ load-bearing test of soil or subgrade materials − used for determining the ultimate bearing capacity of the ground and the likely settlement under an applied load predominantly used for the testing of temporary foundations such as pile rig mats or crane out rigour pads − industrial units concrete flooring and much more − the Plate load-bearing test determines the actual strength as well as the bearing capacity of the ground.
