DorWatcher Door Held Open Alarm

Sometimes referred to as a door screecher, the DorWatcher is an alarm unit used to prevent doors being left open for extended periods of time.
Typically used to alarm kitchen doors in student accommodation, the alarm is activated if the kitchen door remains open for more than 1 minute prompting people in the vicinity to close the door thereby preventing smoke from cooking drifting into corridors and causing fire alarm activations.
Once activated the alarm is automatically reset as soon as the door is closed.

Zoneguard Grade 3 Zone Omit EN50131-3:2009 Env. Class II

ZONEGUARD ZG800 is a Grade 3 EN50131 zone omit unit that fits between intruder detection devices and a control panel to allow the devices to be securely and safely omitted and reinstated without generating false alarms.

ChatterBox Talking Alarm Module Voice Sounder

The ChatterBox Talking Alarm Module is a self contained audio module with loud speaker. Typical uses include a voice sounder for an intruder alarm, building welcome messages, general alarm messages.
Please note if you choose to record messages yourself the format of any sound file used in the Chatterbox MUST meet the specification detailed in the installation instructions. Failure to comply with the required format may cause damage to the unit and will not be covered by warranty.

Keyguard Emergency Access Key Box

Keyguard is a unique plastic emergency key box into which a clear non hazardous plastic window is fitted. Designed to retain a key or access control card the Keyguard is a modern and safe alternative to the traditional break glass key box.
A recess enables quick removal of the plastic window in an emergency to retrieve the key. The window is designed in such a way that it cannot be refitted after removal. Widely used by fire exit doors, in computer rooms, for master key storage and other situations where a key or card needs to be kept safe and secure.
Three versions available.

Secure-a-Link Wireless Relay Transmitter / Receiver System

The Secure-a-Link system consists of two identical transceiver units, which are paired together, each requiring a local 12VDC power supply. The units can transmit up to 200ft in free space.
The system is designed to take a clean contact input and transmit this wirelessly to another point, giving a clean contact output, without the need for hardwiring between the two points.
Two way communication between the units is provided so that signals can be sent in either or both directions and once paired, the units only communicate within their pair, so multiple pairs of units can be used within the same area without interference.

Multi Function Bathroom Controller

Hoyles Shared Bathroom Solution is an effective way to utilise building space. Door Interlock Systems

This sophisticated door interlock controller allows 2, 3 or 4 doors to be interlocked to restrict or control entry to and from areas that need to be secured against two or more doors being open simultaneously.

Two fundamental operational modes are available:
Mode 1 Keep all doors closed but unlocked, when a door is opened all other doors are locked.
Mode 2 Keep all doors closed and locked, unlock a door upon request.

The system comprehensively caters for use with any kind of door lock and any kind of door even including powered doors, roller shutters, traffic bollards etc..

Stop ''n'' Search Random Employee Search Selector

Stop n Search offers a solution for sites with a need for random staff searches.
Searching all staff can be time consuming and disruptive, and whilst random searches do eliminate many of the problems, the frequency of such searches can result in allegations of discrimination and victimisation.

Entryguard Engaged Wait Enter Kit

The ENTRYGUARD is a fully featured Engaged Wait Enter privacy controller with additional features for visitor access control, reception call and emergency call. It is powered by 230vac mains electricity and is supplied with a visitor call button with LEDs to indicate room status and to indicate that entry is permitted. Typical uses are consulting rooms, meeting rooms and interview rooms.

Aidalarm Battery Powered Disabled Toilet Alarm Kit

This battery powered kit meets the requirements for emergency signalling systems for disabled persons. It is fully compliant with BS8300 and the Disability Discrimination Act. Everything is provided in the kit (except cable and fixings) to deliver an effective, fully compliant, simple to install and simple to use system. Operation To generate a call the user simply pulls the pull cord. The controller is powered by 6 AA Alkaline batteries which should last more than 12 months in normal use. The system provides a low battery warning. When the call is generated an audible and visual warning is given at both the toilet area and at the Aidalarm controller which can, if required, be located away from the toilet possibly in a reception area. The call can be muted at the controller by pressing the button at the centre of the four LEDs. This will cause the Aidalarm to bleep every 40 seconds as a warning of non attendance to reception. The audible indications at the toilet area will bleep every five seconds to re-assure the caller. The system can only be reset at (or near) the point of call using the Reset Button. The system is entirely battery powered and as such avoids any conflict with Part P building regulations.

Dado Panic and Affray Switch Strip

DaDo Panic Strip is a switch strip en-cased in a high-durability housing for use as a panic or affray alarm. Ideal where people may need to signal for help or assistance, it can be operated along its entire length.
The DaDo Panic Strip comprises of four main components, the switch strip, tamper-resistant top cover, aluminum mounting rail and a choice of end-caps.
The switch itself is a normally open switch and has flying leads on both ends for connection. We recommend the use of our Redimon monitor unit which will monitor panic strip for both alarms and faults and provide relay outputs for both conditions.

GEMINI Battery Powered Fire Alarm

The GX20e is a battery powered manual fire alarm housed in a robust steel enclosure. It is ideal for small buildings where a single standalone system is sufficient, however the system can be expanded by linking up to four units together. It is not possible to install additional individual call points or sounders. The GX20e does NOT take smoke or heat detectors. For larger systems where callpoints and sounders must be interconnected or there is a requirement for smoke detectors we would recommend our GX32 system.
Ideal for Doctors surgeries, Building sites, Heavy industrial use, Temporary buildings, Outdoor events, Marquees and Portable buildings.

HobWatcher Automatic Hob Isolator System

HobWatcher provides an effective means of ensuring electric hobs cannot be left on while unattended. The HobWatcher will switch off power to the hob after a preset time if no user is present. HobWatcher is virtually transparent to the user requiring minimal intervention.

HobWatcher helps protect vulnerable kitchen users, including students and the elderly, from the dangers of kitchen fires.

MayDay - Lone Worker Alarm

The MAYDAY LONEWORKER safety system is designed to raise an alarm if a lone worker becomes incapacitated. Once the Mayday is armed, the primary countdown timer 20 - 60 minutes is started and indication is given by countdown LED's. At the end of the primary period the secondary timer 2 - 10 minutes starts and an audible and visual warning is given to prompt the lone worker to acknowledge there presence by pressing the OK button. As the timer approaches time out, the indications become more urgent. If the lone worker fails to respond the Mayday signals for assistance.

Sanipull 3m Anti Ligature Hygenic Pull Cord

Sanipull is a hygenic true anti-ligature REPLACEMENT cord set suitable for use with virtually any pull cord switch.
The smooth finished cord can be easily wiped clean. The cord has holes in it at regular intervals designed to break apart at the weak zones when a force of 13Kg + or - 1Kg is applied.

3m cord provided with universal fitting and two bangles and is compatible with most pull cord switches. Sanipull is manufactured from vinyl. To clean using non-caustic alcohol based sanitiser / gel.
Install as recommended in the Healthcare Technical Manual (HTM Section 0803)
Once fitted the S300CLAM is not designed to be tampered with, if the cord needs to be replaced or moved, then a new clam should be used..
Please remember that for nurse call pulls, to comply with legislation you must have 1 bangle 100mm from the floor and another bangle 800mm - 1000mm from the floor.

Wireless Disabled Toilet Alarm

This wireless kit has a mains powered controller and battery powered ancillary items. Meeting the requirements for emergency signalling systems for disabled persons and is fully compliant with BS8300 and the Disability Discrimination Act. Everything is provided in the kit and all required batteries are supplied, delivering an effective, fully compliant, simple to install and simple to use system.

Battery status is monitored by the controller. When the batteries require replacing, the controller will indicate a fault. When fault is indicated replace all batteries within the system. The system should be tested monthly and we recommend that all batteries are replaced every twelve months.

Indicator Red/Green jumbo LEDs & sounder stainless steel

Stainless Steel door status indicator and sounder with red and green 20mm jumbo LED’s. The LED’s and sounder are configured for operation at 12vdc. Can be used with our Interguard range of door interlock controllers as well as any other general application. When used with an Interguard, the LEDs indicate the status of the relevant door. Useful as traffic light indications for doors etc. The connections for the LED’s and sounder are configured with a common positive and individual switched negatives, see installation instructions for further details. We can manufacture this item with common negative on request.

Securitime 12/24vdc time clock and timer

The Securitime is a versatile, secure programmable timer that switches a 12/24 vdc 2A clean contact output relay. With a simple to use interface and a clear LCD display it is ideal for use with access control or any other applications that have time sensitive elements. The timer has a back up battery so even if there is a power cut it will retain the time, date and all the programmed settings. For added reliability the timer automatically calculates the day of the week from the date, adjusts for leap years and automatically updates for summer and winter time.

Red Overdoor Light and sounder Stainless steel

Stainless Steel flush fitting overdoor light and sounder with 16mm Red Jumbo LED. There are separate terminals provided for the LED. The LED and sounder current limit resistor is provided for 12 vdc operation.

Customisable button with re-assurance LED and sounder

Flush fitting stainless steel call point with a vandal resistant button and re-assurance LED and sounder. This is a non-latching unit with single pole change over contacts. Separate terminals are provided for the LED - red, sounder and button. The LED current limit resistor is provided for 12 vdc operation.
Permanently laser marked with text of your choice. Specify text required when ordering - 45 characters maximum.

Customisable button with LEDs and sounder

Wall mounted general purpose button in white ABS complete with a single gang mounting box. This is a non-latching unit with A N/O contact. The LEDs are available in RED, BLUE, GREEN or YELLOW. the LEDs and sounder have separate terminals for acknowledge purposes. The LED and sounder current limit resistor is provided for 12 vdc operation. They should NOT be used for switch feeds to door strikes or mag locks etc.
This CUSTOMISABLE button comes supplied with a selection of pre-printed paper labels ready to fit, such as PRESS TO CALL, PRESS TO ENTER, PRESS TO EXIT, PRESS TO RESET. See installation instructions for all options. A plain label is also supplied, customisation is simple with a labelling machine.

Red Ceiling Pull Switch 2.5m cord c/w LED 12vdc

It is considered against best practice to install a non anti ligature pull cord into a mental health unit due to the risk it poses Please remember that for nurse call pulls, to comply with legislation you must have 1 bangle 100mm from the floor and another bangle 800mm - 1000mm from the floor.
