Solar PV
It allows your business to generate its own electricity, reduces your carbon footprint and on account of its environmental credentials, demonstrates Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Infinite is an experienced developer of large-scale ground mounted and on-roof solar projects for both residential and commercial projects. Working with our partners, in Wales alone, Infinite has built over 50MW of ground mounted solar installations.
Recently, we have incorporated solar generation into our unique multi-technology Generation Storage Consumption Supply (GSCS) Energy Centre projects, representing a step-change in the de-centralised distribution of low carbon and renewable energy. The 1MWh rooftop solar system at GS Yuasa’s factory on the Rassau industrial Estate in Ebbw Vale is complete.
In due course, the scheme aims to share the benefits of multi technology generation within the immediate community, providing discounted renewable power and reducing CO2 emissions in the area.

Wind
One of the UK’s leading wind turbine developers, Infinite provides funded wind turbine solutions for landowners, commercial and industrial consumers. Our customers include one of the most sustainable companies in the world. The Vestas 850kW ‘Daffodil’ wind turbine designed, supplied and built by Infinite supplies up to 10% of the Royal Mint’s (TRM) energy demands and will be integrated into TRM’s Local Energy Centre generation.
Infinite owns and operates a portfolio of wind turbine schemes throughout the UK and manages over £25m of assets for businesses and investment partners. We also offer asset management services to third party owners/developers to maximise return on investment.
We select the most appropriate make and model of turbine for each location and, taking into consideration wind speeds and planning limits for tip height, we optimise the size of the turbine to take full advantage of the investment and energy yield of the installation. We aim to maximise and maintain peak performance throughout a turbine’s 25 year plus life cycle.
Infinite takes care of every part of the process from the design of the foundation to the installation of the turbine.

CHP is an efficient means of generating electricity while creating heat as a by-product. It offers a low carbon power solution which supports sustainability and a more economic supply of power.
CHP is an efficient means of generating electricity while creating heat as a by-product. It offers a low carbon power solution which supports sustainability and a more economic supply of power.
Infinite realises CHP’s potential and believes that cogeneration has many advantages, especially for manufacturing sites. Not only does it offer secure on-site power which helps improve its resilience in the event of a power grid failure, it is odourless and compared to conventional electrical generators and on-site boilers, has a much lower emission rate.

Battery Storage
The electricity grid is increasingly vulnerable. With extreme weather incidents becoming more frequent, commercial battery storage provides instant access to emergency power.
Used in conjunction with renewable and low carbon generation, battery storage forms a critical part of an integrated green energy system. This technology is progressing rapidly and can boost the efficiencies of your energy scheme.
Infinite offers a complete gamut of battery storage solutions that can be adapted to any commercial environment. We work with a range of specialist battery manufacturers to supply a range of battery technologies − tailored to the specific requirements of each individual storage application.

ADEPT
It is a power management and optimisation platform developed by Infinite Renewables in collaboration with GS Yuasa and the University of Sheffield, supported by Innovate UK.
The ADEPT platform meets the rigorous demands of large-scale industrial sites, providing lower energy costs through optimised energy management and integration of local renewable technologies.
The ADEPT system will be integrated into our Infinite Energy Centres to make the most of the benefits of renewable generation and to maximise local consumption of the power that is generated.
The dual chemistry Energy Storage System is a unique and completely containerised solution, allowing it to be integrated rapidly into any renewable energy micro-grid configuration and avoiding the need for internal space.

Energy Centres
A combination of renewable energy sources controlled by an intelligent power management system.
Infinite’s Energy Centres integrate local energy generation, energy storage and smart metering across a micro-grid. Depending on a site’s individual energy requirements and location, the Energy Centres source power from multiple generation technologies such as wind turbines, solar photovoltaics (ground mounted or roof mounted installations) and combined heat and power units together with battery storage. Infinite’s Energy Centres generate and distribute heat and power via private networks and provide a ground-breaking and innovative solution for commercial and industrial energy consumers.
Infinite offers a fully funded Energy Centre solution that enables commercial and industrial consumers to take advantage of low cost, green power, without any capital outlay.
About us
A Specialist Renewable Energy Developer
Established in 2010, Infinite emerged as a dedicated developer of renewable energy, focusing on creating wind power projects for commercial clients. Over the years, we have successfully implemented numerous commercial wind turbines and large-scale Solar PV initiatives throughout the United Kingdom. Currently, we are at the forefront of innovation, pioneering the development of multi-technology renewable energy centers. These centers aim to supply secure, dependable, and cost-effective sustainable energy directly to business communities.
We have established multiple commercial collaborations aimed at incorporating renewable technologies into commercial and industrial environments.
One of our notable wind initiatives is the daffodil-styled wind turbine with a capacity of 850kW. It is designed to meet up to 10% of the energy needs of the Royal Mint's facility located in Llantrisant, South Wales. In the future, this project will become a crucial component of the Generation Storage Consumption Supply (GSCS) initiative.
Under the same project, Infinite has successfully implemented a rooftop solar system with a capacity of 1MWh at GS Yuasa's factory located in the Rassau Industrial Estate in Ebbw Vale. This installation marks the completion of the initial phase of our energy centre. Additionally, we have obtained the necessary authorisation to construct a wind turbine that will directly supply electricity to the industrial estate. Furthermore, there is an on-site battery storage system in place to enhance energy storage capabilities.
Our Renewable Energy Projects Include:
Battery
Batteries play a crucial role in converting renewable generation into dispatchable energy, making them indispensable for the future of energy storage and energy storage systems (ESS). They are vital components in the design and functioning of renewable micro-grids, enabling reliable and efficient utilisation of renewable energy sources.
CHP (Combined Heat & Power)
By integrating the production of electricity and heat into a single process, businesses can generate their own electricity and steam without solely depending on the main grid. This approach enables businesses to enhance their energy independence and self-sufficiency while reducing reliance on external power sources.
Solar PV
Solar PV modules, known for their low maintenance requirements and high reliability, have the potential to significantly reduce electricity bills and decrease carbon footprints. By harnessing solar energy, these modules offer an environmentally friendly solution that not only helps in cost savings but also contributes to a greener and more sustainable future.
Wind
Wind energy serves as a clean alternative to electricity generated from fossil fuel power stations. It is a non-polluting energy source that significantly reduces carbon emissions. Unlike fossil fuels, wind energy generation does not produce any waste during its operation, making it environmentally friendly and sustainable. By harnessing the power of the wind, we can contribute to a greener energy mix and mitigate the negative impacts of traditional power generation on the environment.
Energy Centres
Infinite's Energy Centres combine local energy generation, energy storage, and smart metering within a micro-grid framework. Tailored to the specific energy needs and location of each site, these Energy Centres draw power from various generation technologies such as wind turbines, solar photovoltaics (installed on the ground or rooftops), combined heat and power units, and incorporate battery storage. Through private networks, Infinite's Energy Centres produce and distribute heat and power, offering a ground-breaking and inventive solution for commercial and industrial energy consumers.
Capabilities
Infinite's expertise in comprehending emerging renewable technologies, such as wind, solar, battery storage, and combined heat and power (CHP), extends across various sectors, encompassing manufacturing, food and beverage, and leisure industries.
We possess the knowledge and expertise to effectively operate renewable energy systems, and we provide guidance on the expected outcomes and benefits that can be achieved.
In addition to owning and overseeing a portfolio of 12 wind turbines located throughout the UK, our local Energy Centre model showcases our capacity for creativity and innovation. The business case primarily revolves around securing "anchor" tenants within each industrial estate, who serve as the foundational load for the business model.
Once the initial core centre is established, the energy centre has the potential to expand across the entire estate, interconnecting tenants and supporting them in achieving their objectives of becoming net carbon zero.
Through strong collaborative efforts with our partners, Infinite is actively addressing the demands and opportunities presented by renewable technology in the 21st century.
