Every product starts life using the latest version of Solidworks. One of our in house designers will work with you to ensure the product you’re buying is perfect for the application and functionality is not compromised.
Once you have approved your drawings and specification, the manufacturing process beings.

All our ducted fume cupboards and hoods are manufactured in our factory in North Yorkshire. We have a team of experienced engineers and fabricators that take your order from drawing to the end product.
The standard K8 series fume cupboards have been independently type tested at 0.30m/sec, 0.35m/sec,0.40m/sec & 0.50m/sec, and are manufactured and installed to meet the requirements of B.S. E.N. 14175.

Health and safety is a priority during all installations. Prior to our engineers arriving on site we will have issued a set of risk assessment and method statements (RAMS). All our engineers and operatives undergo relevant health and safety courses and we regularly present tool box talks to our staff. We currently hold CHAS, Constructionline Silver and maintain regular certification such as IPAF and PASMA.
This means that whilst we are working on your site, we will abide by current health and safety guidance, your site specific policies and ensure that everyone will return from site injury free.
Insurances
Integrated Laboratory Services Ltd hold comprehensive Public, Products, Employers and Indemnity insurance (copies available on request)

New and existing fume cupboards, fume hoods and LEV systems require routine inspection and testing to ensure you are continuing to comply with COSHH Regulation 9 − Maintenance.
Under this regulation, it is a requirement for the employer to ensure that all Local Exhaust Ventilation Systems (LEV) including fume cupboards are regularly subject to an examination at least once every 14 months.
BS EN14175 is the British standard that cover the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of fume cupboards. Section 4 covers the On-Site test methods. All service and inspections carried out by Integrated Laboratory Services comply with this standard.
Once your fume cupboard has been inspected, we will issue a report that includes face velocity values and any remedial work that’s required in order for your fume cupboard to remain compliant.
