Security Fencing

Security fencing is a superb preventative solution that guards against intruder access, acts as a significant deterrent to crime and helps major public installations combat attacks.

Our security fencing provides a solution for a wide range of residential and commercial applications, whether it’s protecting residences from intrusion or controlling a perimeter of a facility. Additionally, our matching security gates can act as access control point to control the flow of traffic to and from your premises.

LPCB Security Rated Fencing

Security Rated Fencing is integral to any well-planned and effective perimeter security strategy as it provides the reassurance of tested performance against a range of threats.
LPS 1175 Certification was introduced by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) in the mid-1990s. The Loss Prevention Certification Board works closely with UK government security agencies, police services, risk consultants and architects to determine the standards for fire and security products and services and independently tests and certifies fencing systems to LPS 1175 security ratings (SR).

High Security Fencing

Jacksons high security fencing and gates deliver integrated perimeter security and access control solutions for a wide variety of applications; from Military Bases and Mental Health Hospitals to Data Centres and other Critical National Infrastructure.

Among the many challenges faced when specifying high security fencing for higher risk sites is keeping intruders out, whilst in the event of a serious incident, ensuring rapid and safe evacuation and easy access for emergency services. Further considerations could include minimising the attention drawn to a site and as many sites are located within or close to residential areas, it may also be important to avoid creating a presence at odds with its surroundings.

Acoustic Fencing

Our Jakoustic® fencing and gate systems were specifically designed to deliver good noise reduction performance, sustainability and security and importantly, to blend in with the surrounding environment.

The proven and flexible Jakoustic timber acoustic barrier system first introduced in 2004 that features our unique ‘tuning-fork’ posts is available in heights of up to 9 metres (Steel I-beam posts for heights over 5 metres) and is available in a number of versions to provide solutions to a wide variety of noise problems

Gates & Gate Automation

A solid line of physical defence will be rendered useless without the correct type of gate to complement the overall fencing solution. Gates are essential in making sure there are no weak points around the perimeter, welcoming and deterring people to the site, improving the flow of traffic and pedestrians, and providing safe entrances and exits for both.
We manufacture a wide range of gates with customizable options such as their dimensions, whether they are manual or automated and single or double leaf, and what type of opening they provide.

Parking Control & Barriers

Our parking controls and barriers provides the means to control the traffic flow whether it is vehicles or pedestrians, allowing ease of access from our range of products. Traffic access control is becoming more and more important in everyday security with our products designed to protect vehicles. In addition we can also offer a range of additional safety devices that will allow you to augment standard features or to tailor your automation and access control system to suit your application.

Hostile Vehicle Mitigation Products

With the rising threat of a vehicle-borne attacks due to terrorism and even vandalism, Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) measures are becoming an increasingly important part of any physical security strategy.
One of the main requirements of HVM systems is to prevent unauthorised vehicles from getting close to, or entering a site or building, making bollards and road blockers an ideal solution. HVM measures can be applied to a wide range of applications including but not limited to: public spaces, stadiums and venues, utility sites and shopping centres.
At Jacksons we have a range of PAS 68 barriers, fencing and bollards designed specifically to mitigate vehicle-borne attacks. Capable of halting a HGV, our bollards, fencing and barriers provide an unobtrusive security solution.

Vertical Bar Security Fencing

At Jacksons we provide intelligent physical fencing and access control recommendations which deliver effective security like our vertical bar fencing - ideal for boundary security. Our focus is to offer a selection of systems which Deter, Detect, Delay and Deny unauthorised access in a variety of applications, ranging from domestic homes and commercial premises to government-approved sites.

Welded Security Mesh Panels

All our welded mesh fencing is constructed from steel wire. Where most welded mesh fencing is simply hot dip galvanised, selected versions of our EuroGuard® range are zinc alloy coated for exceptional corrosion resistance, typically four times longer than generic mesh.

Metal Railings

Jacksons manufacture and supply a wide range of metal railings complete with a 25 year service life guarantee. The benefit of using metal railings is that it adds a level of security at the same time adding a decorative feature. All our metal railings have matching gates to suit each style of railing.

Sports Fencing & Enclosures

Whether in a domestic, school, community or sports facility setting, the priorities for any play-related fencing product are safety and the ability to successfully contain the activity to a designated area. This does not necessarily relate merely to the safe containment of children or people but can also include the prevention of balls breaching the boundary perimeter.

Playground Fencing and Gates

At Jacksons we offer a variety of solutions in timber and steel for school, playground and play area applications where security, safety, durability and sustainability are key considerations. All our playground fencing and playground gates are RosPA approved with no finger traps or sharp edges.

Fence Spikes & Toppings

Security fence spikes and toppings are specifically designed for use on our fencing and gates or in and around the perimeter to increase levels of security against intrusion, damage, acts of vandalism or terrorism.

We have a wide range of security toppings from Rota Security Fence Spikes to our selection of Viper Security Fence Spikes, each designed to deter and prevent intruder entry to your premises.

It should be remembered that the installation of security fence spikes may require planning permission or Building Regulations approval, please consult your relevant Local Authority department.

GRP Fencing & Frangible Fencing

Jacksons Fencing offer GRP composite fencing systems in vertical railing and mesh designs with both frangible and non-conductive properties, making them highly effective alternatives to metal fencing when used to provide protection and access control around electrical equipment and supplies, gas enclosures, machinery and other areas that require a non-magnetic, thermally and electrically non-conductive system that is transparent to radio wave frequencies.
