Air Source Heat Pumps
Air Source Heat Pumps have been successfully installed since the early 1970’s, therefore, contrary to popular belief, this is not a new or untested technology. Using ambient air temperatures to provide low-cost heating and hot water.
Because the source of heat, the air, is abundantly available all around us, they have the advantage of low installation costs, and minimal space requirements. With our relatively mild UK winter temperatures excellent levels of efficiency and performance can be achieved throughout the year.
They lower your fuel bills, particularly if you are replacing conventional electric heating, LPG and oil. They are simple to integrate with most existing heating systems and lower your home’s carbon footprint.
Specification and Design and are key to a successful installation. MCS (link) accreditation gives the customer peace of mind that the installation will perform to its designed specification.
Domestic Air Source Heat Pump Installers
We have the experience of giving informed design and costed information from just an initial consultation. This is useful as not every property is suitable for an installation either based on costs or heat loss because of poor insulation levels.
Once it is established that the property is suitable for an installation we can move to the design and quotation stage. There are various type of installation highlighted below:
Commercial Air Source Heat Pump Installers
Domestic Ground Source Heat Pump Installers
This is good news because the UK government is providing financial incentives to individuals for producing energy that’s carbon neutral!
But before you invest in a domestic ground source heat pump installation, you should know as much about it as possible.
Domestic ground source heat pumps operate by soaking up solar energy as it warms up the ground. It consists of a sequence of pipes concealed underground that absorb this trapped heat from the surface. Once this heat is converted, it can be used in several appliances like underfloor heating, radiators and hot water in your home. This is what makes our green energy heat pumps ideal for your home.
Commercial Ground Source Heat Pump Installers
Underfloor Heating Installers
There are various types of underfloor heating systems available. The best underfloor heating solution for you will depend on a range of factors including your project type, your current heating system and energy source.
Suitable for most properties
Energy-efficient
Maximises space in the home
Luxurious feeling of warm floors
Flexible control through zoning areas of the home
Biomass Boiler Installers
If you’re interested in receiving quotes on boilers, we offer you that service in a quick, simple, free of charge way. By filling in the form on the right you’ll receive up to four different quotes from our boiler suppliers without obligations.
Solar PV Installers
The inverter would typically be mounted in the loft in a domestic installation or a plant room in larger commercial systems. The AC side is connected, via lockable AC isolators to the total generation meter, which monitors every kilowatt-hour (kWh) produced by the system.
We are MCS, NICEIC and RECC certified installers so you can rest assured that you are in good hand with your Solar PV or battery storage project.
Heat Pumps for New Builds & Developers
Whether you require Just a heat pump installation with a heat pump hot water cylinder, or a whole heating installation with Solar PV and Battery back up we can help.
Our team can design and provide detailed pricing for Heat pumps, underfloor heating with flow screed, radiator sizing, Solar PV and Solar PV with battery backup.
All we require are the plans for the building or buildings and we can get the estimates and designs back to you within a week. This will help you decide where to use your budgets.
Service & Maintenance
Ensure that your equipment continues to run efficiently
Have Peace of Mind that any problems are discovered and resolved quickly
Ensure that your manufacturers warranty remains valid (most manufacturers will insist on regular servicing to ensure that their warranty remains valid)
Ensure that the equipment provides you with the best possible return on investment
About us
The company was founded by Jason Phillips in 2009 after he identified the need for a more commercial and professional approach in the emerging renewable heating market, which was previously a cottage industry.
Over the last 14 years, the company has expanded alongside the industry to become one of the country's largest installers and specifiers of renewable heating projects. They have completed over 1,000 installations, primarily in the East Midlands, with recent growth extending across the rest of the UK.
Our Product Include:
Air Source Heat Pumps
A well-designed and installed heat pump system offers significant benefits to homeowners, particularly in reducing carbon emissions. Air source heat pumps, which have been successfully used since the early 1970s, are a proven technology. They utilise ambient air to deliver cost-effective heating and hot water, benefiting from low installation costs and minimal space requirements due to the abundance of air as a heat source. Given the UK's relatively mild winter temperatures, these systems can achieve excellent efficiency and performance year-round.
Ground Source Heat Pumps
Although domestic ground source heat pumps may seem complex, they are actually straightforward systems that have gained attention for their eco-friendly energy production. The UK government supports this green technology with financial incentives for carbon-neutral energy generation. These pumps work by capturing solar energy stored in the ground through a network of underground pipes, converting it into usable heat for underfloor heating, radiators, and hot water. This makes them an ideal green energy solution for your home.
Underfloor Heating
Underfloor heating uses durable, flexible tubing embedded in the floor to efficiently and affordably heat a home, offering several advantages over radiators. Various systems are available, and the best option for you will depend on factors such as your project type, existing heating system, and energy source.
Biomass Boilers
Biomass boilers are a great solution for environmentally conscious homeowners because wood is a renewable, carbon-neutral source of energy. With the help of the Renewable Heat Incentive and long-term savings, getting a biomass boiler is both an eco- and wallet-friendly choice. However, these systems are much larger than your average boiler, and your home might need some adjustments to accommodate them. Here’s all you need to know about the installation of biomass boilers, and what you should do beforehand. If you’re interested in receiving quotes on boilers, we offer you that service in a quick, simple, free of charge way. By filling in the form on the right you’ll receive up to four different quotes from our boiler suppliers without obligations.
Solar PV
Solar electric (PV) systems convert sunlight into electricity using PV cells within solar panels. These cells generate direct current (DC) electricity, which is then converted to alternating current (AC) by an inverter for use with the national grid. Even on cloudy days, some electricity is produced. In domestic setups, the inverter is typically installed in the loft, while in larger commercial systems, it's housed in a plant room. The system's output is monitored by a total generation meter. As MCS, NICEIC, and RECC certified installers, we ensure your Solar PV or battery storage project is in expert hands.
With over a decade of experience in renewable energy and extensive expertise in heating and plumbing, the JLP team can design, install, and maintain customised heating systems tailored to each customer's needs.
We base our installations on high-quality equipment, drawing from our experience and the expertise of our manufacturing partners to provide the best solutions for every project.
Our industry knowledge and experience provide customers with exceptional product and design information. Our dedicated installation team, who have been with the company from the start, ensures a professional service from the initial consultation through to installation and after-sales support.
