Anti-Ligature Radiator Guards
It is a sad fact that, due to their circumstances, some of the vulnerable people our guards protect from burning also require an extra level of protection.
To this end Jtech Services offer a special guard that is designed to make the person as safe as possible.
These features include fully rounded edges and corners, sloping sills, vents that are widely spaced and, if deemed necessary manufacture from extra thickness gauge material with internal strengthening ribs.
Installation of these guards is done in the same way as our standard guards, but we can also add extra fixing points to give create and even more solid product. As with all the Jtech Services guards all fixings are located inside the casing.

Floor Ducting
The Floor Ducting system from Jtech Services compliments the Pipe Boxing product range as it keeps the pipework and other services hidden from view as well providing protection for vulnerable people from hot surfaces and other dangers.
To convey the services within the pipe boxing across doorways or walkways Jtech Services offers various standard length kits. Where a variety of services need to be conveyed within the ducting the system can be compartmentalised. For nonstandard applications we can manufacture site specific ducting which is ideal for industrial and other heavy duty applications.

Easy-Clean LST Radiator Guards
When we say easy clean we are in no way suggesting the cleaning is easy, far from it. The keeping clean of heat emitters whilst essential is not always straightforward, especially on some of the older style cast iron type of radiators that are found in some premises. So, here at Jtech Services we want to make this essential part of maintenance as stress free as possible.
How have we done this? By making the front access point of the guard easily removable. Utilizing our SKS locking system rather than needing to call a maintenance engineer to remove the guard, the cleaner has their own key and can simply unlock and lift and remove the door.
During design we can make sure that any access door will be within the easy lifting weight of those doing the work. Having designed this, the next design feature is to allow enough room inside the guard for the cleaning implement to be used effectively. Cleaning the outside of the guard is also quite straightforward as the powder coated surface just needs a wipe over.

All the radiator guards from Jtech Services are by their very nature bespoke as we measure each guard to make sure that it will fit your application when it arrives on site. Although the heat emitter itself maybe from a standard range, it is always surprising how very few guards are the same in any project. This is because of a variety of reasons from, the height at which the emitter is fixed to the wall, the way the pipes feeding the emitter are installed, whether there are other items that need attention such as Dado Rails or similar.
Then there are the out and out applications that require, not just minor dimensional adjustments, but a wholescale re-think of what is required. Here at Jtech Services we have dealt with quite a number of these situations over the years, so we can offer free standing square, rectangular or circular units or curved guards for bay window applications.

LST Radiator Guards
The primary purpose of the LST Radiator Guard is to protect the vulnerable from the hot surface temperatures of the heat emitter. Having been independently tested, the LST Radiator Guard from Jtech Services makes sure that no one will get hurt from brushing up against the radiator and, because of the design, from getting trapped against it.
There are of course many other factors alongside care of the buildings users that concern the premises managers. These include the question of loss of heat if a radiator is enclosed, the ease of maintenance by heating engineers and also the method of access for the regular cleaning schedule.

The HVAC/ Perimeter Casing systems from Jtech Services are designed to serve a variety of applications.

Fire Rated Column Casings
There are a number of reasons why a client will require a steel column to be clad, to make it look good or to blend it into the background so that it does not stand out, it could be to convey services to other floors, but in this section we are looking at the structural integrity of the steelwork in the case of a fire.
In the case of a fire it is imperative that the support steelwork retains its strength for as long as possible and usually an engineer will ask for 1 or 2 hours protection for this purpose.

Internal Column Casings
The internal casings from Jtech Services are mainly used to enclose structural steelwork in a decorative finish to make them blend into the interiors design.
Other reasons for an internal casing though are to hide away the different mechanical and/or electrical services needed to run a modern building and sometimes to provide pathways for ducting air from one floor to another. The materials used for the internal range of casings include steel, aluminium, stainless, pre-formed plywood, GRG and GRP.

Plywood Pipe Boxing
The Pre-Formed Plywood option is probably the most well-known and used of the enclosure systems that we are asked for.
It is supplied with a pre finished white melamine veneer meaning that painting is not necessary when it is installed. However, when it comes to freshening the room up with a lick of paint all that is required for this pipe boxing option is a light sanding and then the melamine can be painted over in a colour of your choice.
The other distinct advantage of the Pre-formed Plywood option is that it quite easy to scribe during installation, allowing for a good fit in practically all situations.

As with the Pre-Formed Plywood option, there is a full range of accessories available for the Steel and Aluminium profiles. During the pre-manufacture site measure, some of these accessories can be assessed and then installed onto the appropriate profile lengths before powder coating so that a factory finish is also the finish you get on site.
