Laser Rod Assembly Jig
Laser SOS provides service and maintenance engineers with a precision engineered assembly tool for in-house laser rod maintenance.
The tool offers a safe means of de-mounting and inspecting suspect or damaged rods and when necessary replacing them with either a new or refurbished one.
These tools are specifically engineered for laser rod holders fitted with caps containing either Teflon or Silicon o-rings.

Laser Lamps & I.P.L. Light Sources
Laser SOS provides solid state laser users with the largest range of retrofit flashlamps and Krypton Arc lamps available. Laser SOS is the world’s largest provider of retrofit medical laser lamps and IPL light sources. In many cases there are several laser lamps or light sources available for any given laser system. Laser Pump Cavities
Laser SOS provides the largest selection of retrofit pump cavities currently available. Gold and ceramic are preferred cavity reflectors used in most laser systems. Laser SOS has developed a unique and proprietary gold plating process referred to as LaserGold. LaserGold plated cavities have been demonstrated to provide the highest reflective efficiency in the market. Laser SOS will also provide bespoke pump cavities to OEM’s and laser integrators on request.
Over the life time of the gold cavity, the reflective efficiency will reduce due to surface damage, contaminant deposits and possible corrosion. Providing that the reflective surfaces are not mechanically damaged, the cavity can be salvaged and re-plated. The cavities are then under plated with Nickel and over plated with LaserGold.

Laser Protective Windows | Laser Optics & Lenses
Lens Protective windows are recommended for shielding expensive optics such as focussing lenses and F-theta lenses from splatter and debris during laser processing.

Deionization Cartridges & Particle Filters
Laser S.O.S. provides the solid sate laser industry with a comprehensive range of Deionizing Cartridges and Particle Filters for most leading solid state lasers.
Most solid state lasers require Deionization Cartridge or DI resin to maintain the correct level of water purity and for preventing electrical arcing. Most lamp pumped lasers require cooling water resistivity to be in the range of 1 to 2 MegaOhm/cm for efficient operation. Problems such as laser lamp ignition will result if water purity drops below the required resistivity level.
Water quality should be tested on a regular basis. The Deionization Cartridge or DI Resin should be changed when the quality of water drops below the current resistivity level. Many laser systems now are fitted with in-line water sensors to monitor water quality.

Diode Pumped Laser Modules − YAG
Laser SOS has designed, developed and produced a range of side pumped water cooled diode modules. The range covers 20W through 100W and 10W TEMoo through 35W TEMoo. The diodes are protected by sensor monitoring water flow, water purity and spiking. The diode modules come with a 24 month warranty. The diode modules are also supplied as turn key OEM laser sources or as kits for laser system integration.

Autocollimators
Autocollimator model AC50 is used for aligning optical components such as mirrors, laser rods and Q-switches on a solid state laser rail. The optical elements on the laser rail reflect and appear as bright images in the autocollimator. When all the reflecting images are super-imposed on each other, the optical rail is aligned. The AC50 autocollimator is primarily designed for use on Plano-parallel reflective surfaces.
Laser Power Probes & Accessories
Laser SOS provides a range of affordable power probes for both YAG and CO2 laser systems.
These power probes are ideally suited for testing laser resonators. These calorimeter type probes measure laser power using a timed exposure. The calibrated readout scale displays the average power absorbed for both CW or pulsed lasers ranging from small 2 watt YAG lasers to large 10,000 watt CO2 systems.
The digital power probe models provide increased accuracy. The instrument consists of two components − a micro-processor based digital meter and a probe head. Different probe heads are available to cover various laser types with power ranges from a few watts to over 11 kilo watts.

Heat Exchangers & Chillers
Laser SOS provides a range of compact 19” rack enclosures. These coolers have high temperature stability, reliable operation, low noise and vibration levels and require low maintenance. The coolers are designed for use with de-ionized water and are fitted with DI cartridges and particle filters. The coolers are controlled by a RS 232 interface, cooling capacity 200W − 2.4 kW (chillers), cooling capacity 7kW to 15kW (heat exchangers) with flow rates of 0.5 − 25 liters/min.
Power Supplies
Laser SOS provides solid state laser users with state-of-the-art IGBT switchmode power supplies for CW laser systems, 3kW to 15 kW. The power supplies are provided in a 19” rack enclosure in the 3U and 4U models. Both single and three phase units are available for both European and USA line voltages. The build standard complies with EN61010-1 and conform to the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 73/23/ECC. They also carry the CE mark and comply with the emission and immunity standards EN50082-2 and EN50081-2.

Gemini is fully automotive, hand held energy and power meter designed for Intense Pulse Light. Gemini works on a microprocessor based measurement technique of temperature dynamics through a thermopile sensor.

Galvo Scanning Heads
Laser SOS provides a comprehensive range of retrofit F-Theta Lenses for over 50 laser manufacturers which account for over 150 different laser processing systems. These are fitted into various galvo scanning systems used for drilling, fine cutting, welding, perforating, marking, engraving and surface cleaning in many applications. These F-Theta lenses are available in many configuration and wavelengths.
